  1. If it has a fresh motor , assuming bore is still good theres no need to bore! You need that meat for rebuilds, you wont notice any more power with a bore (aybe .3 hp)... Welcome to the HQ, and ya your going to be addicted Eric
  2. Cool man ive got a pentium 30 mhz and 6 mb of ram - oh and a 200 mb harddrive
  3. itll get boring soon enough, ive seen every post on this site that it gets boring, but ill be gone all next week so ill actually have some stuff to do on here when i get back  Eric
  4. Ya man it says the last time he was seen on ebay was in 06 - Now i see it lmao... Thats too bad, the seat is very well done and sewn pretty damn good. I couldnt put it on myself cause it wouldnt stretch(the upholstry place had trouble too, they used alot of heat), but its tight and wont move at all. Alot of people think a sewn top like this would get ruined fast but its not true in this case. I pulled out the receipt and I couldnt find anymore info than ive already given, he must have stopped making them. Always got my eyes peeled to find something for you. Goodluck Eric
  5. Yep, just as long as it has a bend and can turn in the base. Eric
  6. If you said it doesnt kick like it used to then id do a compression test, or maybe iots just you wanting more - never said it was compression just a good base to start around, shit happens. I agree with the port job, they wont touch you... Eric
  7. Have you checked your compression lately? Id start there, if your fine then you just need more like all of us!! Eric
  8. with that set up your spendin some money already, do it right the first time - no point in getting a stock head milled for atleast 50 bucks or more when you can get a noss head shipped to your door for like 230-240 (dont remember), and get the domes you want. Youll get it sooner or later right? Eric
  9. 13/42 gearing sounds like a really short pull for each gear, might want to step it up a few or atleast back to a 14 - with the port job youll like it. Eric
  10. Well get it replaced as soon as you can but a wire will hold it on for the meantime, how did it fall off? Or did you take it off and forget to put it back on? Very unlikely that it fell off unless it breaks which is also unlikely... Eric
  11. I run 15/42 gearing and i always start in second gear, 14/41 would be nice (what you had), Porting will allow you to pull more teeth, i might go with 16/42 as i think ill pull it fine.. Sounds like what you had is a good start, sprockets are cheap so try a few, some recommend steel and some aluminum, ive run both but i never keep them long enough to notice a difference.. I see you live in Tucson, same here man - where you live??? I'm Up at the base of the tortolita mtns. Closest cross roads are Como/Moore. Eric
  12. You have to get those pipes really hot to start blueing, check to make sure your key is still holding, not many people have problems with stock woodruff keys but i seem to have badluck with them... lmao Eric
  13. Anyone have any spares lying around they could send me? Ive seemed to misplace my extras and my trip is next week i need some just in case! Thanks Eric
  14. If your pipes are blueing i would check your timing....
  15. Leaking oil? ya you have to crack the cases, 1000-1500 - unless the rolling chassis is nice looking with alot fo aftermarket. This is theprice i would pay if it was a good looking STOCK chassis with a good motor with just a leak.. Eric
  16. Those metal idler adjuster screws sound trick, wish I could find those puppies.. If you can get them for 209 a piece locally pre jetted for your bike, then go for it, if you have to buy needles jets and what not your going to spend alot more then you want... Eric
  17. Put gas in the carbs as it spray? Does the bike run when you give it some throttle? Sounds to me your jets are not large enoguh, or i may be misunderstanding what you mean by "putting gas into the carbs." Eric
  18. Sorry I couldnt help you out more on my seat man, bought it more than two years ago today, cost a pretty penny too. Im keeping my eyes peeled although, I will let you know if I find anything similar. A Few more pics of it: Eric
  19. Cascade has always been very cost effective and GREAT polishing, im not sure where in Phoenix you can take stuff, but invest in some stuff yourself - Its very easy to polish, just takes time. Get a bench polisher and some Polishing Rouges to do big things, and a dremel works good on tight spots. If your not wanting to do it yourself because of time restraints then i can see where your going, but if not, give it a try. Eric
  20. Bump for one sick ride  Eric
  21. Word. MajicMike has them on here for 35 shipped if i am not mistaken, PM him. Eric
  22. The biggest POS you can buy for your bike, invest in a timing plate instead. Eric
  23. Youve gotta be an experienced rider to run a bike like that, its similar to running a .125 rear rim while hittin the woops before you head up the hill - new riders always bend their thin rims and the experienced ones know what not to do. Every pound counts, even if its one  Eric
  24. No problem man, if you ever need anything hit me up, next time ill drive up there... Everything I send that can be polished is. I like cutting people deals that need them, thats why we are on this site! (Not saying that you NEED them, lmao...) Eric
  25. AssWhore there is no reason on beating him down over a simple question, he just wanted to know... and he can do whatever he wants to do to his banshee. Give him some advice but dont beat him down over it, I hate seeing people argue about stupid shit on this forum. Debating some shit is all in learning but not like this... Im not starting anything at all, and sorry if you taking it that way. We dont want to make this a Blue Traxx Forum do we??? Eric
