  1. lmao ive never seen such a story on BHQ, i can just see someone towing a banshee out of a lake.... Sounds like they covered everything... Eric
  2. For any of you that dont know Jeremy hes a great guy to do business with, and has A++ parts to sell. Stock Shearer Pipes chrome sucks balls, i would know. Pick these things up, what a steal.. Eric
  3. Man you already gettin a longer swinger, lmao that sand hooks you huh?
  4. that would definately change your reading, but like i said i would really invest in another tester or find out the difference between that tester and the plug, compression is a good starting point to work off of, then you know when its time to do some maintenance work.. IMO Eric
  5. lmao, FMF did you trade in that grocery cart for that blaster?? Id rather keep that grocery cart man... Why dont you ride that POS over to my place, ill break your ass in half... and part out that blaster, if anyone would even buy anything off it... Just do yourself a favor and leave this site, or get a new Screen Name and restart your BHQ life over, you ruined it..
  6. stock banshee 33 hp... your banshee 45 tops, and thats pushing it...
  7. Theres no way you got a 10 psi difference from being closed to WOT, it should be a dramatic difference... You should have checked the port duration while it was apart, Its not all top end porting is it?? If not then thats way too low... Is it running good? Only way to test that tester is to screw it in to the dome first and use vegetable oil and fill up the dome with it, if it holds more than your dome size(19 ccs), then the tester you have is a cheapy... (add the 1-3 ccs the tester added and calculate)... I have 18 cc domes and all top end porting (forgot the duration off the top of my head, but its very small) and im getting 185 psi in both cylinders... Somethings not right, but we'll figure it out, i dont think you kicked it hard enough... Get your ass out there and get a workout... Eric
  8. Stock carbs will work just fine, larger ones will just wake it up even more. Like i said, work around the porting, everything stock will work fine with porting, after porting id go with reeds then an intake then some larger carbs.
  9. Look at this kids blaster... Reminds me of that MTV Crates edition with the homeless dude and his gold shopping cart... Sorry i had to: Eric
  10. Does it feel like the throttles sticking or does it just not want to calm down? If you let it sit for about 30 seconds will it finally get to idle? If the cleaning the carbs doesnt fix this, and your sure they are adjusted right, it sounds lean to me = air leak. When its too lean it doesnt want to calm down to idle right off bat, but instead keep up the rpms for a while.. Eric
  11. A port job is the only way to make it look like a "Sleeper" The port job and the shaved head will be plenty for you for a while, id build around that ported motor with intake/carbs/clamp on K&Ns etc.. And about the porting, dont ask us whos the best, do some research. Call each builder up and talk to him, see if hes a fit for you... EDIT: Remind you that if you shave the head and your compressions over 150 psi ur gonna run some race gas... Eric
  12. :yelrotflmao: Get outa here man, that would be gay, and i dont want to know the answer...
  13. What a deal, had LRDS and they were the best TRAIL pipe ever, someone pick these up. Ask (.) or LiftdT4R if you have doubts! Eric
  14. Been hearing about that the past few years, whats up with this? With all the acres of dunes closing each year what are people thinking? I still remember when i didnt have to worry about trash to dodge... I always pick up what i see when i can, thats all we can do man
  15. I would run 21, 8 paddle if it were me, and rippers are too big for that bike, dont you think MS? I see they are ported, but with a 17 tooth holy shit man, you aint gonna pull those tires, id drop to a 15, maybe a stock 14, with a 42 rear.. Unless you pushing out 90+ hp that 17 is too much for that bike in sand... So: 15/42 maybe 14/41 gearing 21" 8 paddle haulers
  16. Like He ^^^ Says dont do it, unless your looking for some new crank bearings/crank, a larger bore size, or a new dome/head. Its up to you man  I'm just stressing that youll be sorry if you dont, been there done that... Eric
  17. It wont help with traction, a shorter swinger does that, but you dont need that, you need better paddle tires, and scat trac haulers are just what you need, 8 paddles will do the trick. A longer swing arm is so you can keep the front down (cause those haulers hook up). Eric
  18. Sounds cool, Just have it say Banshee HQ ... I'm a plain guy too
  19. Just go to http://www.eastwoodco.com/ They got it all
  20. i am wondering the same thing, whatever you all decide ill meet you all there, with alot of beer and a blow up bed
  21. Ha, you already have a cub, if its stock stroke then ill take it off your hands no problem! I hope you dont like it!
  22. Its been done many times by alot, if you know how to adjust your clutch you wouldnt have this problem lmao, just make sure you get a good seal (the o ring around your billet center piece is so it doesnt rattle) All lockout cluctches already have this mod done... Eric
  23. Banshees are their own beast, if you want to put around all day on one tank of gas its not your bike... If you want your arms pulling out of the sockets when teh powerband hits, its your bike. To tell you the truth i would love to have both, i have a banshee that i would never trade for a yfz but i want a yfz now too. At the dunes, the banshee shines and thats exactly what i do.. Eric
  24. check the coil, plug caps, etc... I dont believe it could be the coil if only one sideshaving the problem.. And if your builder said to start rich i wouldnt take my shit there again, how are you going to "break-in" if you drown it in oil, just mix 32:1 and do your heat up cycles (which i hope you already did) and do a couple easy rides, then run it like a raped ape. Ive always broken in my bikes being hard on them. Never had a problem either.. Theres a site that was on here a while ago that stated to Break it in liek you ride it but the search engine isnt working for me right now for some reason.. Take that jet down until you see some improvment (if thats even the case)... Heres the Link, i finally found it: http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm Let us know how everything goes Eric
