This has been coming up alot lately and it really makes me wonder how people are having problems with their o-ringed heads. I am running a nosshead, and I have never had any problems with getting a good seal. The only person I really have heard has the problem is big ol dajo. Maybe hes got a defect in the batch, maybe his cubs got a defect, or maybe it was user fault? (Just makes me think why hes having the only problem out of many) Everyone else always has good words to say about them. If i were in your shoes id go for it and put it on, whats it gonna hurt to try it out? Trinity heads are very nice, is your the stage V or IV? The V has always been my favorite, it has those extenders that go to the cylinder base, looks trick. Eric

Noss makes an awesome head, and it doesnt leak if you install it correctly. I'm running one with 18 cc domes at 3000 ft.

I run 35pwks on my stock stroke ported motor, are you calling me a yehoo? If you had a stock ported motor then id see it being too big. I wouldnt go any bigger than a 35, but I like the piece of mind knowing that when I go to a cub, I wont have to upgrade my carbs. Throw those carbs on there man, jet it, and rip.

This is not just a place to sell stuff, though it has a forsale section, many just dont buy from users with a few posts(if you had many posts, or were a reputable seller on here it wouldn't of been a big deal). I'm not trying to start shit i just want you to realize that this is how the HQ is, and we watch out for eachother. Ive seen shit like this posted (Not just on this site of course) and it turns out that the guy is a deadbeat and/or is selling stolen parts. Just look at it this way, would you want to come here and have people screwing you over, or selling your parts? Yes, they all need to be torqued in order 1-10 , start at 5 then 10,15,20 - 20 is the maximum(ft-lb). The base is the same procedure(same ft-lb), just cross them up like you would a wheel on a car. Also, before I put the head back on, if its stock, make sure the heads not warped, put it on a flat pice of glass, or something you KNOW is flat. The limit is .03mm i believe. Goodluck Eric

It makes me think that your parting out a stolen bike, so help us out by showing us this bike and a list of parts. Looks like ASRs Old style A arms, in chrome. They are $400 new if i am correct, the Tie rods are for sure ASR, i have those exact ones :biggrin:

It will be very reliable if the work is done right, after the head is shaved make sure you check that compression to see what its puttin out, but it shouldn't be too high youd have to run race gas. Make sure the pistons are bored to the exact size of the pistons, please...

The "gasket thing" you are referring to is the stuffer I presume? They can be replaced with square ones and the circle is eliminated. Cascade sells them, VFIII Stuffers. Ive never had VFII's so i wouldnt know about the screw thing, just what i've heard about them. I run the VFIII's with no problems and no worries about any screws being injected into my cylinders. :biggrin:
