  1. Its the same company that makes Weekend Warrior who makes the Extreme's.. so they are pretty much identical but not as expensive. I paid 23,000 OTD which included installation of a WD Hitch and Prodigy break controller. '21 feet, 100 Gallons fresh, 30 black, 30 gray, generator, A/C, shower/bathtub, refer, microwave, stove, outdoor shower, fueling station w/ 35 gallon fuel tank, indoor/outdoor cd player, 3 beds... alll sorts of crap. Dry weight is 4350. Ill get some interior shots later today.
  2. Here is my newest toy.. taking it to the dunes next weekend to see how she fairs... '06 Extreme RV
  3. It should be nice and warm but I'll have my toybox out there so it shouldnt be too bad.. plus the canal is right there so its all good! We will probably be just a little ways north of vendor row... I highly doubt many people will be out there so we should be easy to spot.... will be close to the canal probably about 500 yards in or so.
  4. Our group will be at Gordons Well from Thursday through Sunday that weekend, you should camp with us. I highly doubt there will be any parties that weekend since it really isnt the season yet. Gordons is the same dune system, its just the dunes that are off the 8 instead of the 78. Let me know if your gonna come down.
  5. I do it all the time with my bikes... just make sure there is no gas in your floats when you do it or you will have to re-oil your filter.. so just turn the fuel off while running and wait for it to die.. then just stand it up and tie it in.... but make sure you get it tied in good it is bad for your quad when it flies out the back of a truck Have fun up in Corral Canyon, been out there many times.
  6. It is overpriced in my mind... looks cool, but doesnt look like it cost almost $100... i was expecting something with a little more bling.
  7. Thanks for the responses... ill rewrap the teflon tape and tighten it down all the way... while i'm at it, does anyone know the fuel line size to fit 35mm PWK's? 3/16 is waaay to small.
  8. Having some trouble installing a new pingle valve. When I screw the valve in all the way it wants the nipples want to face towards the front of the bike, so I figured I could get it to face more towards the carbs by wrapping it a bunch of times with teflon tape and then screwing it in almost all the way but leave it pointed towards the carbs... so wrapeed it 6 times with teflon tape and gas still leaks past the threads.... any ideas? I could try more tape but I just want to make sure im not wasting my time doing something wrong.... any Cons with it facing towards the head? Just dont want to melt fuel lines because they are touching the head.
  9. I am in 100% agreement... before I started the bike for the first time after getting it new from the Dealer I took TORS off and replaced the other worthless stock part which was the air filter setup.
  10. Depends on how the moost setup is. Does it have a place for the TORS switch and wires? If not then it is probably for a good reason (TORS is complete junk and its purpose is worthless)
  11. <date removed>. I wont be attending this one but it should be good... looks like there is a lot of shit talking going on over at Planetsand... so get your asses out there and represent the 2-strokes. *EDIT Forgot that the date was not supposed to be posted anywhere... if you need the date PM me and ill be glad to tell ya.
  12. Thanks for the offer, but I will need the rims too...so ill just buy the set off Rockymountain atv... just trying to figure the size and the # of paddles out.
  13. Reviving this topic, I need to get my haulers ordered today and still dont really know what size to get. I want something that dunes good and drags good (so a good medium). What size would you all recommend? Mods are in the sig... I was originally thinking 20x10x10 10 paddle haulers, but now I am thinking 21x12x8 8 paddle haulers. You guys know best, please help me make up my mind.
  14. Been there and it suxs. You really need to split your cases to do this right; Regardless of whether or not you put it helicoil in or just tap new threads you will have to drill out the exisiting threads so that means metal in your tranny, which is not good. My suggestion is to just by a bunch of rubber expanding drain plus from the autoparts store and use them until you have a real reason to split those cases. I used a rubber drain plug an entire season without issues, just throw it away after every oil change and use a new one.
  15. 32:1 is pretty much the norm, however like stated above many riders have experimented with different ratios and oils and have found their personal preference. You cant go wrong at 32:1.
  16. I don't 100% agree, yes as you start adding power to a stock crank motor you will start to play russian roulette with reliability, but I feel that if you do the work right and get the right parts for the job a full drag'd out motor will be just reliable as a stock shee. Just my $0.02. Banshee's are great bikes and so what if you have to do a top end every once and a while... with a two-stroke its simple. My buddy blew up his '05 YFZ450 and it cost him twice as much to fix it. If you want to join the big boys get banshee... greatest thrill on earth.
  17. Yeah if all else fails SBT is great. Just put in a refurb'd motor in my '94 Yamaha WaveBlaster, top notch people & product. PWCToday is like the BansheeHQ of the PWC world.. they are really good at helping over there.
  18. Passion does: http://www.passionracingengines.com/index.html Standup guy, great work and awesome prices. His customer service is top notch, couldnt be happier.
  19. you are going to get different opinions on here, but here is my method: 1. Warm it up to operating temperature then shut it off, wait for it to cool down completley and re-torque all the head bolts. 2. Repeat step 1 4-5 times. 3. Ride it like you stole it. Never had a single issue doing this. I've never "babied" a top end... seems like a complete waste of time.
  20. Call Jim @ Passion racing he will hook you up with what you need. 918-232-3950
  21. Buddy of mine got his frame PC'd at RW Little (619) 297-3706 down on Pacific Highway... cant remember what he paid but it sounded like a good deal (i think it was around $250 or so) and the frame turned out pretty good.
  22. What type of oil is leaking out? Is it premix or is it tranny oil (is your tranny oil running low?). Could be a bad crank seal and/or a bad base gasket. Need more info first. Doesnt sound like a head gasket to me.
  23. Here is mine. Got it a while back.... like stated above.. its slow and doesnt track well in anything but pavement.. but looks coool... suspension works good too!
