  1. what kind of budget do you have
  2. ^thats because they weren't made for drag...does your friend have the same setup as you?
  3. thats pretty cool...
  4. i'd sell the shee to pay for parts for the R
  5. ^lol...the famous dynos on toomys site where they show their pipes outperforming everyone elses...I wouldnt go by that at all. both fattys and t5's give you about the same horsepower gains...i'd take the fattys over t5's though for the trails, I rode a t5 bike in the trails and all I got was wheelspin everytime I hit it, with my uncles bike with the fatty's it was better to ride, not as much wheelspin, and the powerband came on easier and not that hard hit just as wallrat said. fatty and toomey almost have identical curves its just toomeys are shifted like 900 rpm's up more in the powerband.
  6. you say we need to grow up but your still the one being racist...so who really needs to grow up
  7. 2 in 1 pipe for tight trails, pt mids for the most low end out of dual pipes while still having good top end. if you dont care for top end get the 2 in 1 pipe.
  8. ^damn thats tight, bet it handles like a dream
  9. if you rid both dunes and trails you would benefit from the PV cheetah . a cheaper alternative would be rz350 cylinders, if I were you I would go for that. docbones, your profile says you have a 250r geometry frame? do you have any more pictures?
  10. from magic racing. people run 93 octane with 11:1 pistons, you'll be fine
  11. dont forget to get rid of that stock plastic impeller, get an aluminum one from pro design just incase the stock one decides to screw up.
  12. hope you can recover and still ride man! only if you were closer to norcal I would be interested, that thing is clean.
  13. I didnt see that, run some 28mm pwk's and just trade the hi revs for some t5's
  14. omg thats hilarious, I cracked upon every single one. Vrrrroooooooooooommmmmm! F
  15. I would think that with any pt pipe you really dont feel the powerband "hit" so to speak because they smooth it out, so it kidn of seems like theirs no power on top, thats just what i'm thinking. but, I would say you would gain top end power switching to t5's, they do have more over-rev. I emailed dan @ patriot about the mx port with t5's a while back and he replied the t5's respond with the port and will work well for agressive/open type riding, so i'd say go for it.
  16. I think its because of the "instake porting" he had done
  17. he's got a stock head. he was real into the porting when I was talking to him, but i'm not sure. he likes the pipes he has but from what he's telling me is he wants more low end/torque. I told him about eric gorr's port, but i'm not sure how it runs with fattys.
  18. ^hmm I had forgot about the 2 in 1 carb setup
  19. my uncle is lookin for more torque and low-mid power out of his banshee, he has fattys and a k&n. I told him porting would change the power curve to what he wanted exactly, but looking for other opinions. we ride open mountain trails.
  20. here's a good post on it, http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...c=53067&hl=gorr what I want to know is how pt high rev's work with the port, anyone running them?
  21. even with the suspension you had on it?
  22. damn man nice job on the restoration shee looks good! great pictures!
