Been thinking about getting some lighting, I'm not trying to run HID's or anything but I want something bright so I can see at the dunes at night, and night riding in the trails. I read that page over at DuneReview about running Hella 500's and a set of handle bar Trail Tech Lights, and also putting a battery on the bike. My question is what is the battery good for? If I get a ricky stator 200w stator and the ricky stator flywheel wouldn't the light be bright at low rpms? Im looking to run what the Hella 500 driving lights and a set of handlebar lights, that should run with a 200w stator correct? Some insight would be helpful.

I havent heard anything about Halo 3 yet...I still havent played Halo 2 lol...I stopped playing games for a while but that 360 brung me back to them...I'm definately waiting for that Gears of War though...going to be a badass game

a woods port is just a mild port compared to a dune port...you can go with bigger carbs for more top end since you dune...just depends on what you want to do...I've seen people run 33mm carbs on a woods port...

Yes it's that simple. As far as passion, i've heard many good things about them. You can't go wrong with choosing any of those builders BigRed listed. If you want to get technical I would personally call all of them and choose from who you think will help you the best, but like I said you cant go wrong with any of them.

umm not exactly, T5's are a mid-top pipe and T6's arent really any better on low end...here's my list, at the top being what Pipe I would pick first for low-mid Pt Mids Dmc's Gnarlys

costs around 15-20 to get in...if you get in at night you have to register with them in the morning because at night the front booths are empty...you dont need spark arrestors...and they dont trip off red stickers really just dont have the sticker on your bike of course....its always good to get there at night so then theirs nobody to check your bike at the front...sometimes you have to call in and make reservations if theirs going to be alot of ppl ... i.e. 4th of july weekend....but im not really sure how it works out that much...dunes arent big as glamis but its still alot of fun...especially comp hill at night...im on my way back home right now and will be returning to pismo soon i hope

no competition style climbing...just recreational...sounds like a -2 should do good on hills...

^dont mean to jack the thread..but how does a -2 do on hill climbs? I've always been curious...riding hills on stock swinger I dont have to really worry about it flipping on me...

yeah...works are 10x times better than stock, and they are bottom of the barrel. in the trails they get the job done, soak up better than stockers. I can hit whoops in 3rd gear WOT with a rebuilt rear. if you are on a budget works aren't bad at all...but they aren't the best.
