  1. Thanks for the link Tim. I guess I have another question then. I would like to have my Banshee up to about 70 HP by next summer, probably wont run much more than that when Im totally done. If I get my stock carbs bored to 28mm should that be able to feed my Shee? And if so by install the Power Jets is that something that will hinder getting them bored?
  2. So those pretty much copy Lectrons design? If thats the case sounds like Id be better off getting some used Lectrons. Being the price on the dial-a-jet is $100 plus $10 for the snorkel for my stock 26mm carbs. I can get bigger Lectrons for like $250 or so.
  3. Alright, thanks alot. Is it hard to install these?
  4. Ah yes heard of dial a jet, I just saw some on ebay too that you mod and you adjust the main from a knob on the outside of the carb? Anyone use either and have goodluck with them? If so know of a good guy on BHQ too get them from?
  5. Getting some pipes so Im gonna need to rejet my carbs and I've heard of some jets that you can mod your carbs with to make them adjustable from the outside of the carb. Anyone know of a company that has these? Where I can find them at? Thanks... I have stock carbs by the way.
  6. Looking for pipes, stock length works shocks or cool head.
  7. Nah, I got stock ones on it right now and those are too rough.
  8. Possibly?? Really have no clue, I just know it would make my Banshee sit lower than I want so Im trying to sell these or trade for stock length shocks.
  9. Any have anything to trade?? Just post what you have and Ill check it out, I have no use for these shocks. Money works too.
  10. My friend rebuilt his golf cart and put the piston in that backwards. It ran but had no bottom end at all, you pretty much had to get off and push it to get it rolling and then jump on.
  11. Yeah I was thinking along the same lines as that, I could see them being used on a Banshee but not for what I do, I do dunes mostly and trails once in a while. Oh well, hopefully I can sell them somewhat quickly, or trade them for something I can use anyway.
  12. So I bought these off Ebay with the seller telling me they were off a Banshee. I get them here today and they are about 2 inches short of the stock ones. Could be a for a banshee or maybe not but if anyone wants to buy them or trade something for them, Im just trying to get rid of them now. These shocks measure 13 inches from the center of each eyelet.
  13. Thinking about taking the airbox off and Im just wondering how safe it is? Im gonna be running K&N clamp ons with prechargers. I ride dunes mostly but trails once in a while too. I hear that Im safe without the airbox as long as I dont hit any water but sometimes you cant really avoid it. should I be all good with this setup? Just wanting to switch over like this so I can get some Shearer Pipes later on.
  14. Also if the tranny is locked up you may have part of the broken piston down in the bottom end binding up the gears. All I can think of, maybe someone else can help you out more.
  15. Tried to kick it over but cant get it too move? One or both of the pistons are siezed up, in that case tear it apart look at it and see what it looks like. Also did you have it mixed to lean or have motor work done too it recently?
  16. Never used the oil you have but I know when I got my Shee from the dealer a few years ago they told me to run Yamalube at 40:1. After about 4 sets of plugs, bogging, excessive smoke and some side firing whenever it decided too I switched over to Klotz Benol and started mixing at 50:1 and havent had a problem since.
  17. I live in Newaygo about 50 minutes or so away from Silver Lake if anyones planning on going I should be up there in another 2 weeks or so.
  18. I just put mine in sometime last week and took my shee too the dunes Saturday and noticed a huge difference in power. Must have put yours in backwards.
  19. Send me pics of the pipes please, are they adjustable? [email protected] thanks.
  20. Just got back from riding after I installed my VF3's and K&N Filter and what a difference, it has screaming top end now and I dont have a problem pulling on my friends 660 Raptor anymore.
  21. Should I put some gasket sealer on the new VF3 gaskets or just bolt them right up? Also looks like there was some loc tite or something like that on the bolts when I pulled them out, assuming I should put some back on there??
  22. Ok so just a razor blade and cut them flush down too the rest of the manifold then correct?
