  1. Not a clue man, sorry. You'd have to call WCR for that answer. From what I've seen, they look similar with the addition of springs on the duneable, but I'm not sure if the drums are cut different or not. Bump! No wait time to get a cut tranny & no core to send in! Good deal here!
  2. WCR 2-5 Full Override Transmission. This is NOT a duneable. Neutral is in the normal position. Worked fine, no problems at all. $350 shipped.
  3. I would get it back from the local guy & send it off to Kevin at HJR and he can build you a screamin fast setup, taylor'd to whatever you want to do with it.
  4. .030" to .035" is pretty common. I've seen them taken down as much as .045" Why not just buy a cool head? Give kevin at HJR a call, he can mill your head for you if you want to go that route.
  5. I use Kevin at HJR. He is a great guy to deal with, won't try and sell you any stupid bullshit parts you don't need like some of the other builders will. His pricing is great, his work is top-notch, and his turnaround time is better than just about everyone else out there. I wouldn't go to anyone else for engine work. He's done a few port jobs for me and I love every single one of them. Kevin does some awesome work! HJR!
  6. your just doing the sport more harm than you would get enjoyment out of it.
  7. I would give kevin at Herr Jugs Racing a call. He can hook you up with a port job and all the bolt-on mods you'd need to take care of the LTR. Porting is going to be your biggest bang for the buck, but you need all the bolt-ons to compliment it. Cool head, adjustable timing plate, pipes, carbs, reeds, billet basket....
  8. If you're after the top end, you might as well go for the cases too. The bore on the cylinders will require the cases to be bored as well. Yes, the intakes are different from a cub cylinder.
  9. I would pull the clutch cable and see if its still a solid cable or if you have a break in it somewhere. If you don't find the problem pulling the clutch cable, then it sounds like its time to pop the clutch cover off and do a little inspection. Its really not hard at all to remove the clutch cover. Make sure if you do that you have a new clutch cover gasket to put on when you replace the cover. - Jared
  10. I would get a hold of Kevin at HJR for a crank. His cranks are made in the USA and very nice & he stands behind them.
  11. You are in pretty bad need of a lower chain roller.
  12. Whats the red spooge all over the whole front end of the cases and around the head studs?
  13. If you use a bench grinder to do it, make sure you go over it with some fine sand paper or a sand paper drum on a dremel and smooth it out. When you're done you want a nice smooth surface for the shift star roller to ride on. - Jared
  14. If your shift shaft main spring is so worn out that your shifter is pulling the shaft down, its time to replace the spring and probably the eccentric adjustment bolt. They are both made of the same hardness material and both wear out at about the same rate. In most new applications the weight of the shifter will not be significant enough to make any change at all to the shift shaft. Next time you have the shift shaft off, try and open up the shift shaft spring by hand and you will feel how much tension the spring has.
  15. They poured hot lead into his transmission and threw it in the river... lol
