i drive a crew cab GMC 2500HD with the 8.1L Supercharged, K&N Intake, Flowmaster Exhaust, Chipped, different sized pulleys... and my best to date is 13.2 mpg. I am always romping on it all over the place though.

Buy a 450.

I have a few streetbike motors that I picked up here in town. The problem is that I don't have any good frames to put them in. I'd like to build one just to ride down at walden on the hills. I have a yamaha FZ600 motor, and an R1 motor. Both run, have all the eletronics, fuel system, etc. I just can't afford a good frame right now. I thought about tearing apart my 450 and stuffing the R1 in there, but then I realized I would probably die. I think I will probably end up having to buy a Craptor like loco did and put it in there. Only problem with that is that I am nowhere near as good as him at modding stuff and getting it to work. It will probably turn into a huge disaster and I will get mad. I also have a turbo off an old (early 90's) subaru. Haven't figure out what I am going to do with it yet, but I have one! Anyone interested in a turbo? lol

Junkyard Hunt! My jeep came with Dana 30 front and a Chrysler 8.25 rear. I found two Dana 44's in a junk yard. Rebuilt both for around $200 and run them on the Heep now. They both had 4:10 gears too. Yay!

The news cracks me up. I watch these people who said... Every year this happens and our home gets flooded and ruined. Here's an idea! Don't live where freaking hurricanes come through all the time! What a great idea. They complain about the winds... we have a neighbor with a $15,000 weather station and he has recorded SUSTAINED winds of 130mph for around 5 hours and we normally have gusts in the 70-90mph range in a normal week by our ranch. Yes, this hurricane is a Cat. 5 so its winds will be much greater than that, but I am sick of people complaining about wind. Come to Wyoming for a year and see what you think of winds. I guess I just think its funny that all these people keep building and re-building right in the path of these hurricanes that they know are going to keep comming year after year after year. Come on.... Duh. If you are fine with it that's great, I just don't like the yahoos on the news who complain about it. I'm sure there are a lot of people with very well built houses who don't mind it.
