  1. I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a loose connection on one of the wires that feeds into the coil. might try checking that as well as what everyone else has said.
  2. You said there wasn't much snow left eh? How was deadman's? Formed yet? I might hit walden up next weekend if the weather is nice and I can afford this god damn gas around here. I am in my last week of class so I could use a good walden ride before finals week.
  3. I have a friend with a raptor is a really good rider and when we drag race on loose gravel roads He will stomp me till I hit the middle of 4th, by the top of 4th i've caught him, 5th i will pull away and 6th he is eating some hardcore dust.
  4. Holy crap, 200's! I ride at 8,000 feet with my airbox lid off, and a K&N clamp-on and i run 200's or 210's.
  5. stop by laramie on your way through & come ride at the track. If you do MX at all. Drop me a PM if you wanna come. You have to have a key to get in, so I could take you if you want.
  6. I ride down at Walden a lot. Those who have been there know what I am talking about. There are a lot of old river beds & stuff down in the forest where you CANT get moving really fast to flow decent amouts of air through your rads. I spend almost all day down on these trials and doing the hillclimbs that come up out of them. I rarely go out on the big dunes where you can get up some speed. Since I spend most of my time down where there is no air-flow I need aditional cooling when it starts to get real hot outside and I am reving the crap out of my bike. The mod that I did will keep my engine temp right where it needs to be. Don't worry about if I am running too hot or too cold. Don't you think I would do the research before I did a mod like this? I have a temp gauge that I took the readings off of.
  7. Got it all put together and ran the bike for a while to get it hot. Ran it in the powerband for about a half-hour. Hottest temp was about 20 degrees cooler than with stock radiator. It was 60degrees out here today and then it started to just dump snow about two hours later so I didn't get pics taken. If the snow melts tomarrow I will get some pics for whoever it was that wanted them.
  8. Um, I never said my bike was overheating. Just doing this to help drop temps more. The cooler you can get it the better it will run.
  9. you can go to 100 over. Two of my bikes have gone that far and run for about two years before we re-sleeved.
  10. Sorry, kinda off-topic. Cowboy, we are going riding this weekend up at my place if you wanna come. I think the back lacing is kinda sexy. I like girls with tattoos & piercings & stuff like that. That's just me. Sounds like most of you guys dont like it.
  11. yeah, you have this thing called money. Fancy parts are always nice when you can afford them.
  12. I am going to moch it up this weekend. I will post pics after that. Just go down to your local Checker or Advanced Automotive shop and ask them for a Heater core from a mid 90's Bronco. Mine measures about 10inches high, 2inches deep, by 5 inches wide. I don't have any of my shees here to play around with frame placement, but should be pretty simple. I will put pics up soon as I am done putting it together and testing it.
  13. I have the heater block I got at local auto parts store. I am going to place it in the frame up front and run some extra cooling lines to it. Basically I am going to go from the main radiator down to this second smaller unit, then into the head. Should drop temps a couple degrees I figure. What do you guys think?
  14. get a clymer manual
  15. 40,000+ acres of land all privately owned. Drop me a PM if you are in Wyoming and I will take you out there. lol.
  16. Thats fuckin nuts! We have a 1000 gallon underground diesel tank that we had to fill two years ago. that sucked. We have a couple 50 gallon drums of 94 octane. I use that for the four wheelers. Yamalube Pre-Mix is like $9.00 down here. Ridiculous.
  17. LOL I wish I could come up with ideas like that to do to people. hahaha
  18. I ran with a bottle of everclear in my tank once, that was pretty bitchin. I dunno what nitro stuff would do though. lol
  19. Well now that you got a pissy attitude with some of the HQ guys it is likely that no one on here will buy them. lol.
  20. I dont think I would have thrown it out the window I would have just put it on the floor in the room. haha Good joke!
  21. If you are interested how about you drop me a pm with questions or stuff.
  22. You shouldnt have to split the cases. Everything you need to adjust that stuff is inside the clutch cover on that side of the engine. Splitting the cases will only get you to the shift drum, shift forks, and the gears themselves. Everything that you need to look at is inside the clutch cover. Get a clymer manual and go fix it.
  23. Blaster is too small for the kinda shit I do.
  24. No its not normal. When you hit first and go to shift down again your shifter should not move down at all. I would pull the clutch side cover off and take a look at your shift star. Sounds like one of the cogs on your shift star isn't grabbing or something. I had a similar problem that went away after I rebuilt my lower end. When I tore it apart the shift star clearances were pretty iffy.
  25. I wanna see a dyno sheet too. where is it?
