  1. Ive also had luck in the past by tapping on the case studs that go through to the bottom of the engine. Use a rubber mallet and whop on the lower studs a few times. If you have never had your cases apart, it will be tricky the first time. Jared
  2. LOL! Make sure you have all the top and bottom bolts and nuts and the little half-moon shape bearing holder that sits behind the clutch basket.
  3. Trinity logo's automatically deduct $500 in value every time they appear on the bike. lol
  4. I've shipped frames through fedex before with zero packing. They just tie-wrap a shipping tag to it and toss it in the truck. I've done 4 frames like this and the only issue I've had is the little tabs on top of the steering stem loop that hold the plastic get a little tweaked, but you grab some piers and they straighten right up. If its a frame you intend to sand-blast and have PC'd or are going to take a grinder to for lightening its no big deal. If its a custom 1-off PC'd and ready to go frame I would never ship it like that though. lol - Jared
  5. I've had a few k&t engines come across my bench and loved every one of them. They all run good.
  6. LOL! Thanks man! So far its still for sale! Another member here on the board sent me some powervalve block-off plates that I am going to throw on to see how it feels blocked off. Our next riding trip is the first weekend of August. I will post more pics and videos of this bike in action after that trip! Thanks to everyone who has been bumping this for me! - Jared
  7. Thanks for the bump on my for-sale thread guys. This guy has a nice clean banshee too... Its tough to sell banshees right now. I know its impossible to recoup what we put in them, but i just can't make myself give mine away. Best of luck with your sale! - Jared
  8. I dune ride the piss out of my blue bike on methanol all the time. Methanol conversion is the first thing I do on any bike I keep. I would never dune on gas, that shit sucks.
  9. ^^^ This guy is retarded and obviously has ZERO knowledge about running methanol. :shootself: banghead
  10. shift star mod shift pro kit with stock spring shift shaft mod side-cut your gears 2nd bearing on the end of the shift drum Your problem is that you have a stock transmission....
  11. He crashed at the track. n2otoofast4u was there and saw it happen. From what I've heard he was going down the track on the bar and when he came down the front tires were turned or he had a tie rod failure and the bike went sideways and barrel rolled with him on it. I've seen pics of his bike after the wreck and it didn't look pretty. - Jared
  12. Seeing as louie was just in a bad wreck, i think any of the twister stuff is going to be pretty difficult to get for a while.
  13. I put a pump on it a couple weeks ago. Its not the black hex pump, but one of the smaller 35Lph pumps. I also have chariot billet bowls on my mikuni's. I'll have to check the heat on the plugs next time we take it out now that we played with the jetting a little bit on the dyno. -Jared
  14. Aug / Sept are the absolute busiest times of the year for our company. I don't mind some travel, but driving (500 miles) half-way to meet ya after working 60hrs in 5 days isn't high on my list. I'd still like to work out a deal with ya, but like you said, the logistics suck. lol I'll return your PM later this eve. - Jared
  15. Colorado IS a title state. You will receive a certificate of origin when you buy the bike, then when your lein is paid off you will receive a title from the dmv. If you do not have the title for it, you are not the legal owner. The only thing a bill of sale does is prove you paid for it. Which if you dont have the title for it, you are possibly in possion of a stolen bike. At least thats how the dmv and police would look at it. Post up the vin number so potential buyers can run the vin and make sure it comes back clear. I can run the vin for you if you would like. -jared
  16. We are at the dunes with it. Mostly flat straight-line drags about 500-700ft. Some up-hill stuff, but the up-hill runs are shorter. I do want to get the compression up above the 150 mark with some smaller domes. Thanks! Jared
  17. Im sittin at the 6 or 7 deg mark right now. What do you think, +9?
  18. Ive been running atf for about 10 years now. No problems here, buti dont abuse my clutch like some do.
  19. This was the first time I have been on a dyno & i don't know much about the correction factors he had set up on it. I want to bump up the compression and see if I can get a few more hp out of it, and help my launching a bit. Thanks! -Jared
  20. Do an override. 1-5 or 2-5
  21. It was already ported when I got it. I picked it up from jmarquez.702 and he got it from N2DeepRacing. The cyls were originally ported by Jim @ Passion, then Tim @ Titan went through and did them again and cut the domes for them. These cylinders are by far the most fun set of cylinders I have had in a looong time. I think even if they blow up on me i will keep them and get them re-plated. I like them that much. I would not hesitate to have Tim do your work. Give Kevin @ HJR a call too, he does some awesome work! You wouldn't be disappointed with either one! - Jared
  22. Give Jeff a call, he can answer all of your questions for you... If you're close to him, and you like the way he treats you on the phone, then go with him and have him do your work. I would suggest you call Kevin @ HJR. He does top-notch work and has some of the fastest turnaround time in the industry. You wouldn't be disappointed with him. - Jared
  23. Yeah, pretty sure its the same domes. I am at 7200ft though, some the compression will be a lot lower with the same dome profile up here. I am planning on getting new domes for it set up for our altitude. The more I ride and mess around with this engine the more I like it. - Jared
  24. Got any better pics? Those pics are too small to see any details. Do the forks come with it? Rods?
