  7. This would be great for the coal-hill guys back east or a hill-shooter for the oregon guys... I used it as a dune bike and a hill-shooter at walden. Its got HUGE bottom end and mid-range power and revs out hard when the powervalves open up. 485cc powervalve cheetah top end. Ported by Brandon @ wildcard racing. Domes cut by Tim @ Titan Racing 73mm bore Wiseco 423 series pistons (about 6 weekends worth of riding on them) vforce-3 reeds upp intakes for 33-36mm carbs newer DM style head with changeable domes comes with powervalves and blockoffs so you can do whichever you want. Runs hard and smooth through the entire power range, 12.5:1 compression ratio domes, so you can run pump-gas. Nothing wrong with it, I'm just going to build something else on this bottom end. $1100 shipped SOLD!!! Shearer big-bore small-flange in-frame pipes. The expansion chambers have been cut and rotated and rewelded down by the cylinders so they will fit correctly. The stingers have also been cut and rotated and re-welded in a couple spots on each stinger so they fit correctly. The stingers have been wrapped in header wrap so wires and filters don't melt from touching. Priced cheap since they have been cut and welded on. Still good looking pipes. $275 shipped SOLD!!! Video: I'm 230lbs and this thing hauls my ass around with ease! http://s260.photobucket.com/albums/ii14/WyoBanshee/?action=view&current=72218e1c.mp4
  8. P.C. is the stamp on some of the older vitos cranks.
  9. I've always done the same thing. End of the run, stop, run back down through all the gears, then take off again.
  10. I am really happy with the way these pipes hit. We made probably 50 passes over labor day weekend with this setup and ran about 500ft on most of the runs. I like how this thing runs. -Jared
  11. I call the top end!
  12. Did trinity do all the work on the engine?
  13. Please post pics! Thanks -Jared
  14. Please post pictures in your thread... How about a tire size? 22x8x11, 25x10x10, 21x12x8, etc. Thanks, Jared
  15. split the timing plate and stator?
  16. You probably didn't tighten the crank nut to spec and it got loose, then as it rode around on the shaft it ate up the threads, which allowed the PTO gear to move and it just kept snow-balling. Did you install the compression lock-washer the correct direction? what did you use to tighten the PTO gear nut? As for the sprocket with broken teeth, that's no indication of power, its indicitive of a sloppy chain or mis-aligned chain, or junk sprocket. Hell, I run the primary drive sprockets on my 10mil and don't have a single issue with broken teeth.
  17. HaHa! A good running banshee doesn't need to down-shift on the hill, we grab gears all the way to the top! "Lose power" <-- what's that!?! Usually if you are to the point where you are stepping up to an override you're not going to be concerned with losing power or down-shifting going up a dune. LOL -Jared
  18. Based on the size of the spring in his picture, it wouldnt do any good on the rod with 1 fork. The rod with the single fork is for 5th and 6th gear, both of which are clutched gears and the drum on a 1-4 is not modified for 5th or 6th gear, so there is no need for the spring on that shift fork rod. The spring goes between the clutch side of the case and the 1st fork on the shift rod with two forks. It is to keep the pinion gear from trying to re-engage with the 1sr wheel gear. Put it where it goes or you are just going to trash a set of forks or bust a gear. Jared
  19. Do the 4mil and have kevin port it for the 4mil. You will love it! Jared
  20. We are going to need some better pics of the girl in your avatar so we can confirm if you are a good seller or not. -Jared
  21. ...wait, so when did 4900ft become elevation? LOL!
  22. It goes on the clutch-side of the case on the rod with two forks, between the case and the first fork. It is to keep the pinion gear from engauging with 1st wheel gear once you leave 1st gear. -Jared
  23. Custom crank. You can get a crank made with whatever stroke you want. Its typically to fit within a certain cc range for races.
  24. There is a link to my bottom-end walkthrough with pics in my sig. -Jared
