  1. If you are not experienced with these things, i would definitely give kevin a call. He will set you up right. Jared
  2. Me no like new HQ.
  3. Your dome selection will determine what fuel you want to run. Why are you so determined to run race gas? Take the domes that Trinity supplied with your engine kit and throw them in the trash. They are absolute junk. Just about any of the site sponsors can get you a custom set of domes cut for a decent price. Hit up Kevin @ HJR he can get you fixed up right. If you have the dyna there is no need for a timing plate. Just use the stock timing plate and let the dyna do the advancing. Having both is a waste of money. -Jared
  4. Just go to the pumps the big-rigs use. Duh. I can fill my titan tank in my F350 in one shot no problem. No pump shut off at $75 like you guys talk about. That's some gay shit.
  5. Trade ya my blue bike for the engine carbs and pipes and I'll deliver to your door. 472 supercub, noss head, brand new top end, LSR / Metal Tech suspension, TCS / works shocks, +4 axle, 12-paddle SLS haulers, hinson spring loaded billet basket, straight-cuts, direct drive lockup/cover, IMS pegs, lightened frame, etc... -Jared
  6. Holy crap +18! Why not take the front end forward 4 or 6"?
  7. I thought rattle can ray was banned...
  8. Use a dial gauge and find true TDC, then measure how much the edge of the piston protrudes above or below the cylinder deck. You can do it with a dial gauge or even feeler gauges, or a set of calipers. Jared
  9. Have kevin at HJR port your stock cylinders, do a cool head with domes, 4mil crank, carbs and intakes. Great running setup and cheaper than the aftermarket setups. Kevin does awesome work. Give him a call. He will go over your options with you and keep your budget under control. His phone number is in my signature. Jared
  10. There's a link to my bottom end walkthrough in my signature. Check it out and you can see how the bottom end goes together. -Jared
  11. No. If your flywheel is torq'd properly it wont move, and the only thing the key is supposed to do is align the flywheel, it is not there to hold it in place or precent it from rotating. The taper on the flywheel is what holds it in place. Jared
  12. Hit up Kevin @ HJR, he can get you a new timing key, flywheel and crank if any of them are chewed up enough that you need a replacement. -Jared
  13. Locked up transmission would be my first guess if it broke in the back.
  14. Give Kevin @ HJR a call! He can bore your cyls and get you the right pistons for your crank/rod combo. -Jared
  15. You already have the head off, just pop off the cylinders and look at the rods... Measure the bore and base gasket and do a quick rebuild. -Jared
  16. Why are you selling these so cheap? You know these are a very limited production pipe? I run these pipes on my 10mil cub and love them! Anyone with a cub will like these pipes.
  17. Ill put my money on the 10mil being the better setup. Better torq curve with the bigger stroke. Jared
  18. He can bore your cylinders no problem. He has bored a couple sets of cyls for me. Give him a call. Great customer service! Jared
  19. I dont personally have anything brandon has worked on, but he is a super nice guy and has helped me out on more than one occasion. He took parts off his personal bike and gave them to me just so i could ride for a weekend at sand mountain. Great guy and he has some fast bikes, so he must be doin something right! -jared
  20. If its got over a year on it, theres a lot that could happen to the top end in a years worth of riding. Theres a lot of hp that might be left on the table just in his setup - pipes, timing, fuel, dome design, reed choice, etc... My 10mil cub made 109hp and 55tq with 35mm carbs. -jared
  21. If its overheating its most likely a jetting issue and you are making it hot. Also, adding timing will increase heat. Whats your mods and jetting and elevation? Jared
  22. Good looking banshee, Good luck with your sale! -Jared
  23. Castor 927 at 40:1 for gas and 20:1 for methanol.
  24. Bump for an awesome seller! Great guy to deal with here folks! -Jared
