  1. I'm sorry that you may have had a bad experience w/Mark. All the dealings I have had w/him have exceeded my expectations. I'm sure if he is in the wrong it is a misunderstanding. Hopefully the two of you can resolve this problem.
  2. I believe odagen is refering to the Skat Tracks Extreme Hauler.
  3. I second that. The guy that owns it is usually out hanging out at 3-4 in the morning. I don't have the number w/me, they are hard to get a hold of. If you search, "The Bikini Bar", you can get the number to the campground.
  4. Impact is the way to go to remove the nut on clutch basket w/o the holder. Torqeing it back on is the trick. You can shove a rag in between the clutch basket gear and the crank/primary drive gear to hold the basket from moveing, but have to some how hold the inner hub from moveing. It can be done w/a friend and a few chisels or screwdrivers, but it might be wise to invest in the clutch holding tool as it is easy to slip and break shit w/the screwdriver method. You don't need to remove the gear from the clutch basket, it pulls right off together. And if I remember right, the kicker gear comes off pretty easily, may want to get input from some of the other guys on exact details, I forget.
  5. Does not make a difference.
  6. You are a dumbass!
  7. Thats pretty bold for a first post w/a name like yours on a banshee website. I can see you are going to be loved here. Eat a dick, and offer some help or don't post your worthless bullshit at all!
  8. Find someone local?
  9. Make sure when your crank is lined up tdc, your cam sprocket is also at the tdc position. Don't forget the cam rotates once for evey two turns of the crank. It's a 4poke!
  10. On fmf's website, they do suggest 260's w/snorkel taken off, stock air filter. And yes, if they are white ashy looking, you are dangerously lean. You would probably be ok staring at 280's and go from there. I think that will put you a hair rich w/your altitude and stock filter.
  11. www.bikebandit.com They will ship them to your door, couble dollars a piece.
  12. Thanks dEcon, I didn't know I wasn't speaking english.
  13. Gay in my circle. And if not then, just a plain liar!
  14. Was your bike in gear? If it was in neutral your back wheels should not have locked up. If you take off the clutch side cover it should be obvious. If it is in neutral, try and spin your crank while you are in there, if it is locked up, you may have lost a circlip and locked up the crank or something of that nature. Seen it happen before, but hopefully it is no big deal like in blue duece's situation.
  15. If you had a decent amount of time on that top-end, I'd get pistons also seeing how you are replaceing the crank. You certainly don't want your pistons to fail on you 40 hrs after the rebuild, and ruin your new crank. Don't forget yamabond and a flywheel puller if you don't already have one. You may want to think about replaceing all your seals while you are in there also.
  16. I ran 320 mains w/same pipes, reed spacers, k+n w/lid off at sea level. You obviously are not going to be that drastic, but I would definately think you are lean. I would suggest around the 250-260 range. What do your plugs look like?
  17. If you are talking stock cylinders, you are not even going to notice a difference in power if you bore it to the max, and then after you go through that top end, your cylinders are worthless. Just bore when necessary and you have 4 times to rebore. If you are talking going w/a big bore kit, then more power to ya. I'd also port it if you want serious power.
  18. Thanks Loco, appreciate it.
  19. Change your mind?
  20. Don't bore it unless necessary. Porting alone will make a huge difference in power.
  21. Am very intersted, you have one p.m, when you reply, could you list all that is included please.
  22. Have P.M. Are you on the good guys list, or can anyone else vouch?
  23. Freestyler, you sound like a dyke. You like all the other characters in the movie(dudes) except the hot chick.
  24. Need to check your compression. If it is low, your bike will start hard when cold, then start fine when everything heats up and expands. Also possible that if you have cleaned the carbs lately, you put the float bowls back on the wrong carbs. Then your choke wouldn't work properly, and might take 10-15 kicks to get it to fire.
  25. I would check air filter, pilot, then compression of side that is running half assed in that order. You may want to switch plugs around just to make sure.
