  1. Agreed, have some pride and balls about you man! Besides, there are always women that like the foreigner dude. I have never been to the airport, but the "coffee shops" are everywhere in Amsterdam, just might be a place to endulge in the airport!
  2. Plan on being there also. Have a cabin to stay at in mears. Yes there is a hotel right in the center of town. Rooms are reasonable right around $100. I was hopeing to have a cub setup to give you some competition Badass, but the house hasn't sold, overtime isn't there, blah blah.... But I am trying to get some Passion 12 port cylinders off a guy, I will at least try and run the first hundred feet w/ya.
  3. There is a TORS controller box under the gas tank, more on the shifter side of quad. Unplug it and it will eliminate the TORS sytem. If it fixes the problem you can just leave it unplugged until you get a kit to eliminate it.
  4. Congrats!!!!!
  5. And most zerk fittings are self tapping, just have to wory about getting it out.
  6. Just do some browsing around in here at maint. ?'s and answers. Search some specific questions you might have or can think of, you will come up w/enough reading to keep you busy for a long time. They are a little more prone to maint., but all can easily be done yourself, and parts are cheaper and very readily available.
  7. Still a stupid question, especially considering this persons other posts.
  8. General rule is to intake at least one gram of protein per Lb of body weight when you are trying to grow. More is better, but like 03LE said, it is not easy. You figure chicken breast has approx. 25 grams of protien(reasonable average size) a piece.....

    Cylinders !

I have a set that are stock bore and stock port. If you are interested, I am looking to get $200 shipped in the U.S. So we can look at shipping and talk about the final price.
  10. You don't know any of the Gillig's do ya?
  11. I am from Fostoria. Moved to Michigan in 86, but I am back and forth for holidays and such. Wast just south of Findley last weekend for a family get together, McCutchinville, you may have heard of it. Just thought it was cool to see someone else from that small ass neck of the woods. Oh yeah, GO BUCKS!
  12. Yeah, I thought the same thing, but that isn't even torqued, just snugged, and I have had it apart several times to check to make sure everything is lining up and no luck.
  13. A banshee can be set up for about anything. I would look to go w/some Paul Turner Mids, a 2 into 1 carb setup, and if you really want to rip through the trails, an Eric Gorr trail port. And eventually if you really feal like springing, a good set of shocks.
  14. I am helping a friend rebuild the bottom end of his CR250. Everything has gone smooth(I thought) until we went to tighten the case bolts. Once they are tight, the back gear cluster locks up. Can barely spin w/ a sprocket on it. Just barely loosen the bolts and it free's up. I have had it apart several times to recheck, and everything checks out. The forks are all in the drum correctly, transmission shifts through all the gears, all washers and clips in place where they are supposed to be. The crank and driven shaft spin just fine when all is tight. My friend is trying to reuse the gasket as it is still intact. I couldn't see thickness of the gasket making that big of a difference (as compared to new) as it is the one that came out of it. Any helpful information from anyone who has ever split and then assembled verically split cases would be appreciated.
  15. All kinds of guys using PVL's for drag bikes and damn near all of them are stroked wether it be a 4 mill drag ported stock jug, or a 16 mill Tripple .
  16. You don't have to unplug all the TORS connections, just the black box. That definately sounds like your problem.
  17. If your drag port is a true drag port, you are going to want to go w/bigger carbs. That setup will work w/stock carbs, but you will never reach it's potential. I would go at least 34 mil PWK's when you get a chance. Other than that, get a Clymer Manual. I actually prefer the factory Maint. manual, you can get them at Rockymountainatv.com for $35. About half what Yamaha will charge you.
  18. That's the one. My bad it was Holyman.
  19. Open airbox, pods, what filter?
  20. You are already a part of the forum. Welcome to the HQ. I can't think of any particular problem areas on the Banshee, but there are a few things you will want to do immediately. First off, get a pro-flow adapter and filter setup. This is a weak ploint on the Banshee, unless you are going to eliminate the airbox and run pods. And it isn't necessary, but you may want to get a TORS eliminator kit as it may save you a lot of headache in the future. Other than that, build it how you want it. If you want to go more toward drag, CPI or Shearer pipes are great, if you want to go w/an all around pipe, can't beat the Toomey T-5's. Let us know if you have any other questions. There is a very nice used quad buyers guide, I believe it was done by Meat, but I can't find it, maybe someone else can post a link for you.
  21. I have to second, helldrivers correct on the article. and MSRP is only a couple hundred dollars difference. Where do you get $1000. Better read again.
  22. Where are you located?
