  1. What kinda racin?
  2. How long has it been since the pilots have been cleaned? Does it start hard?
  3. What kind of mods you runnin?
  4. Where did you get your domes? Did you have them cut? What is your squish at? I ran a gas motor at 195 psi for two seasons...I did back out the plugs on a couple occasions, but the few times, something was not right(lean jetting, and had oring sealing problem causing a coolant leak). And as mentioned, definately don't up the timing till you get it straightened out. Oh, and one other question. Are you running a stock cdi?
  5. You don't need the pipes on, but one thing I have found to be true is more compression testers are bogus, than work right. It is unfortuneate that you didn't try it before hand. It may have registered 80 or 90 lbs w/the stock head if it is not working correctly.
  6. Well, i guess different strokes for different folks. I ran a 15-41 or 15-42 w/my duner setup and 22-11-8's. It was drag ported though.
  7. What size tire do you run?
  8. Depends what kind of riding you do. Prolly great in tight trails, not so good on wide open trails or dunes.
  9. Thanks for the info JT.
  10. Thanks Shayne, look forward to hangin out Sunday.
  11. Anyone have any more info on Jeff? Sounds like he is OK??? Whas he riding his bike? How is yours running Shayne?
  12. 360 to 380 will almost certainly be too rich, but it won't hurt to start there. When I ran fatty's they liked a little more fuel in the mid range so I would lower the clip one notch, and 27.5 is where I would start as well on the pilots. Airscrews 1 turn out and go from there.
  13. I origionally wanted same sides for this build but didn't want to pay new price and settled for what I have because I couldn't find any w/silencers before the season started. Bike runs great w/them, they are in great shape, but there is a same side set available for sale, and I figured I would see if these would sell to buy them. Basically strictly for personal preference on how they look. If the other pipes sell before these do, they will no longer be for sale.
  14. I gap at .022 for gas. Manual will say different....
  15. Sounds like you have a bad crank seal and are sucking tranny fluid. Have you checked the level? If you hold your hand behind you right side silencer and rap it does it cover your hand w/oil or raw fuel?
  16. As the title says. In great shape. Only selling to try and buy same sides. $450 plus the ride.
  17. What are you trying to get out of it dollar wise? Or how much is it worth dollar wise toward parts?
  18. I think the biggest problem w/racing up hills at Silver Lake is there aren't any tall enough... except maybe the directionals. And no, it never gets boring on the drag strip. Besides, I have a R that I dune when I want.
  19. You have to drill the shock to accept the stock bolts. Not shure what size. The bottom eyelet is hardened and is a bitch to drill. You will want to address the front as well though, you will be loooowwwwww in the rear. 300ex shocks work perfect to level her out. They bolt right up. I purchased the newer style R6 shock w/the rezzy up and down instead of sideways(red spring as well). Jt turned me on to this setup and he may be more help. It works absolutely perfect w/10 in swinger for height and valving.
  20. Search Plug chop and you will have all the info you need.
  21. I don't know of a published spec on what you are looking for. I just make sure there is zero play up and down. Maybe a builder can help you out on that. Stock jetting on a shee in most areas is 200. I believe they are also sold w/180 and 190 mains in higher elevation areas.
  22. You should not be able to hold it w/your thumb. Check the plastic gear and pin that goes through the impeller shaft to to see if it is chewed up(will spin freely) You will see what I mean when you take off the plastic gear on the back side of you clutch cover.
