  1. I highly doubt a Tister cylinder needs more porting. There is hardly an extra material in the ports to fool with....
  2. It really depends on what you want to do with the engine................
  3. I don't think you can compare a Twister Small Block to a DM Cheetah. Comparing a DM to a Big Block Twister makes more sense. With that said, from an engineering standpoint, I like several things Louie does better than the Cheetah line. :geek:
  4. Having you builder within a few minutes of your house is definitely a plus. When looking at race engine builders, you have to remember that most rely more on trial and error than science to create their products. With that said, it makes more sense in many cases in this sport to go with the originator of the product as opposed to a third party tuner. :geek:
  5. Word. Race Tech seems to make a good kit for such things. However, TCS does great work and all of my current rear shocks have been done by them. A word of caution though, if you go to their shop in-person, watch out for the folks in Lake Elsinore, there seems to be alot of imbred crap that goes on out there.
  6. That about as big of a small block as is commercially available. :geek:
  7. Damn, is that too nice to part out or what? **Bump for a good guy.
  8. It's easy, all you need is some sheet metal and housing insulation. Then you can use a heat lamps for heaters and you will get to 400F real quick.
  9. You were told something that only is a problem if you are using a giant tube of copper RTV. This person also may have a mullet and a 350 Chevy engine block for a coffee table, in his trailer, on his parents land............ If you are sensible about the amount of Yamabond you apply, you will never have a problem.
  10. You can buy the base gaskets from many places such as RMATV or Cascade. Hondabond or Yamabod is the way to go to seal up the case halves.
  11. Powder coating on SS is no big deal. I have heard alot of bad things about the Podos arms. Is this the only problem you have had with it?
  12. What are you planning on hauling? Why do you think you need a tag axle? Are thinking of just putting a tag axle on the trailer or on the tractor as well?
  13. Cut up pop can and zip ties. The only trick is you have to move the zip ties down the can with the piston. I usually do this when I am putting together something I don't have a ring compressor for. :geek:
  14. It actually looks the covers I used to make, but there aren't very many of them out there and I don't think you could've come across one.............
  15. No.
  16. That's a really old Direct Drive cover.
  17. Word.
  18. Word. My red bike made 72hp at the crank (down from 100hp) with basically no gasket under the left cylinder........it ran like that for two years of hard duning before I decided I needed to something about it (I was bored). I am pretty sure the engine build itself had about 5 years on it.
  19. I am not sure how i feel about that swingarm.
  20. I am guessing the same thing...............either that or a pirate hoker got him on the way to the hospital. :ermm:
  21. There are meds available? Where? I may need some..........
  22. Those are Wiseco numbers and you can download their catalog in PDF form from their website. If I can remember how to use my engineering crystal ball properly, I would say you have a set of 65mm Wiseco Banshee pistons on your hands. :geek:
  23. If you are taking suggestions for elective surgery, maybe you could get your left nut that the guy from MI stole replaced while you're at the hospital......................just a thought. :yelrotflmao:
  24. Schweet, maybe your kid will be born on Halloween. That would be especially cool once it gets to college. I checked my cervix a second ago and I wasn't far enough along yet either................. :ermm:
