For those bearing, they are big enough to get a piece of flat bar behind it, then you can whack the flat bar from the other side and the bearing should pop right out. :geek:

IMS used to make rods under the Hot Rods name, but Wiseco bought them I believe............. :geek:

I used to make my own pistons, but now I pretty much stick to screwing around with off the shelf pistons. To make a piston from scratch you have to use a 4-axis mill or a special cnc lathe capable of eccentric turning. The mill isn't hard to come by, but it's really slow and the special lathes aren't used for much else besides piston manufacture, so no one has them. My problem with giving away stuff on here is that I would prefer not ship the stuff (I hate the post office), so I ask that someone comes and picks it up, but apparently that is too much to ask............ :biggrin:

Yeah...........that's a J-Arm. There is no such thing a v-arm or a or a d-arm. You can choose from a-arm, j-arm, or an n-arm when talking about suspension.........the other terms out there have been conjured by people who don't know what they are doing or are trying to sell something.

I would be willing to bet that the guy selling that knows a bit about what he's talking about. I read that auction description as having alot of sarcasm in it. It's either that or the guy is clinically retarded.

It all depends on what sort of porting you have and who did it. My engine in my red bike has about 140psi with 21cc domes, but I fiddled with the porting and the domes. :biggrin:

I think that was the place. I forgot to ask the guys about it yesterday.

I run a +4" arm on my red bike and it is completely duneable (including tight trails) and jumpable. In the past the engine I have had in there has been right around 100hp. :thumbsup:

What sort of engine do you have in your bike?

I have had that happen to me with a few sets of Pistons from Wiseco. I am not sure why they do that.

There is a place that rents ATV's and bikes near the Armagosa (sp?) dune system. I will see if one of my coworkers has the info for it. :thumbsup:
