Hit up www.bikebandit.com before you go that far and just buy some OEM fasteners. They aren't very expensive on that website.
  3. Heat + Impact gun. I have come across a few frames that seem to have had some sort of turbo loctite on the threads in there. Heat was the only thing that got the nuts moving.
  4. I have been buying them from Cascade lately. They seem to be the best gaskets I have found so far. :geek:
  5. Word. However, I think Meat on here found some aircraft stripper that even removed powder coating...........
  6. 14/42 on a +4" arm puts you at 114. :geek: My CAD model for figuring out such things seems to be working again. :woot:
  7. .......back to hanging out with stripper are we?
  8. Two things: 1.) Nice bike. Very clean. 2.) Those are some big mooses you have there.
  9. I always wondered about those kits. I am still not really sure how they work. Maybe I need to stare at them harder..............
  10. I am pretty sure it is against the law in the 49 contiguous states and guam to use those two words in the same post. :geek:
  11. I think you are supposed to weld BigRed's finger too.
  12. I doubt he's giving you the run around on purpose. I'm sure he doesn't roll like that. I would wager that he is probably out in the middle of nowhere for work if you can'tr get ahold of him. You have to remember he lives in Wyoming, where a cell phone signal is hard to come by, since there's nothing there.
  13. Unfortunately, in a public forum, you are probably on your own. If you get ahold of one of the bigger names in the sport on the phone, they will tell you whatever you want as most of them are nice folks. If you give me a better idea of what you really want to know, I can probably help you some. Stroke and port mapping is a pretty broad topic.
  14. Atleast at PS someone will fill you up full of bullshit.
  15. He's around. I think he has a girlfriend and has been busy at work.
  16. You would need alot of crack for those things................
  17. That worked.
  18. I'll put some tomatos on your hamburger....................... :ermm:
  19. ..............and I am with Dave on this one.
  20. With a press and a set of bearing install/removal collars. :geek:
  21. Those arms are made by Fireball. That picture is from an auction on eBay. The seller of those arms bought them from a in2glamis on eBay.
  22. I vote for CPI. It does not appear to have the coned of the Power Pros. :geek:
  23. I think those are also the same people that put spoke auto wheels on their bikes or atleast think it's cool to do that.
  24. It's not really about jetting...................it has do with ensuring the carbs are both in the same position at any given point in the slide travel. :geek:
  25. I agree.
