  1. That's horrible......
  2. It is, however it's my shortcut around me not being very good with carbs...........
  3. ..............I simply cannot believe that someone on here has not taken a Pingel valve apart before.
  4. The piston availability should be a worry. The larger bore cub pistons are generally batch ordered by Trinity and trhen distributed, which is what makes them a bit harder to a get ahold of.
  5. I know what the as cast timing is for a stock stroke cub. Any of the other stroke cylinders will be different. Why do you want to know? :ermm:
  6. Get ahold of gimmeeabeer on here.........he seems to like to take those things apart for fun. He's probably your best bet on the HQ.
  7. Ok, that helps, I can work with that. Basically the deal is, that I don't have a flowbench at my facility and my magical jetting model seems to have a couple holes in it. I needed some new data points to figure out the calculated .lbs/hour rate of gas vs. alcohol that I will use. :geek: If anyone else has anything they would like to share on this topic I would love to hear it.
  8. Ditto..........Customer service is also awesome.
  9. If you had a stcok stroke, 392cc cub, CPI small bore inframe pipes, VF3 reeds, OEM carbs with pod filters, were running at 60 degrees F, sea level, and has 170 lbs. of compressiong in each cylinder, running on race fuel, what you you put in the carbs for a pilot and main jet? I am trying to work out a mathematical comparison here, so I pretty much just need jetting suggetions.
  10. .............really, no one knows how to do this?
  11. Is this like the time you posted pictures of some chick you downloaded pictures of off of the internet? :ermm:
  12. bk_banhsee is a good worker. Godd chrome. Good service.
  13. I like to think it's because I have been telling everyone that you rubbed a pirate hooker on those parts................
  14. Bump for a good guy.
  15. Word.
  16. This is what I was getting at. Most folks don't drain there coolant as often as someone who drag races their bike, etc. :geek:
  17. Do they sell M6 - 1.125" bolts in Canadia?
  18. This is a good point.
  19. I know a guy who is more than happy to chrome them for you............ :ermm:
  20. It also masks any cylinder blow down deviation issues that can be found on mass produced engines. If you have the tube, toss it on the engine. If you dont, then it's not really a problem. Just don't buy a boost bottle to replace it.....................if you want to go that direction, I am sure someone on here will give you one. :geek:
  21. I actually would support the opinion of taking it to a local place if they seem knowledgable about engine machine work. Machining a bore for a forged piston is relatively the same in any engine. Plus, you might get to learn something. I would recommend asking to see the shop as to determine that the work won't be done on a drill press with a homemade boring bar............. :geek:
  22. I'm going to measure right now.................brb. .....................and 30mm is what I measured.
  23. It sort of looks like a homemade job that was done by someone who wasn't completely retarded. it definitely looks MX or woods oriented. Can you tell if any of the ports were raised or lowered? :geek:
  24. ............and by quality he means spelling.
