  1. ^^He knows more than I do about the Banshee suspension. Listen to him.
  2. I apparently do not have any morals when it comes to thread hijacking.
  3. Bansh-eman, did you get another person pregant? Congratulations YFZDUNEJUMPER!
  4. All of the Roll parts I have ever owned have been fantastic.
  5. Damn Flatbillers.
  6. You should have made friends with me sooner, or atleast while I still liked my job in California.
  7. Do a search in this forum for this topic as it was covered here recently. If you still have questions, let us know.
  8. Potlach has more than one street in it, but not many more than that.

    Banshee Title

I am interested in the title only. A couple other folks have offered me titles, so once I talk to them some more I will shoot you a PM if I am still interested.

    Banshee Title

    PM Sent.
  11. I figured they were sort of rare these days and they are certainly in good condition. If I has a j-arm bike, I would be looking to rape and pilage to get those arms. I also found these and thought they were kind of neato burrito. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-YFZ3...sspagenameZWD1V

    Banshee Title

That is my other option is to a get a frame with a title and transfer the VIN to my new frame. The short cut I would like to make, which is probably not the most legal, is for someone who has parted a bike out, destroyed a frame, or whatever sell me their title. The shipment of the frame is the part of the equation that I could do without. The only reason for that is I don't really want to go through the hassle of turning around and reselling the OEM frame I would need to buy to get the title. :geek:
  13. He is obviously way lean if he didn't refet between the FMF and CPI pipes.
  14. I'll be getting my frame next Tuesday. I'll be happy to peel off the blue sparkle powder coating and mail it to you in an envelope. :woot:
  15. Yes it does. There are a few things that can be done to combat that though. You can either coat the inside of the tank with an aircraft sloshing sealer (like POR15) or you can have the tank anodized. The last thing that can be done is that if the aluminum the tank is made out if covered in the Alcoa AlCLAD venier, you can soak the tank in an industrial acid solution to seal the metal.
  16. I didn't realize it was the same guy. I was just responding in the other thread to your post...............and I had to flip back and forth between the threads as I thought I had double posted, entered a parallel dimension, or something equally strange.
  17. Oh yeah, well my triple will use a 17 tooth sprocket ................(I really have no idea about the secondary drive gearing at the moment)
  18. I really don't know what to reccomend. I have never run a setup like you have with a stock air box.
  19. For $200, even if you had to rechrome the pipes, it would still be a good deal. Why the hell don't I find good deals like that? :: I am pretty much up my own ass trying to figure out what I am going to do for pipes for my triple. :shoothead: PWK or PWK Air Stryker carbs are good carbs and they are much better than stock. My previous carb comments was reffering to some other Keihin and Mikuni carbs.
  20. Three things: 1.)Don't type in all capitol letters because no one will read your post and reply to it. 2.)Not rejetting the carbs after installing the CPI pipes more than likely has made your engine run extremely lean. If you have been riding the bike around like that for any period of time you can pretty much count on the top end of the motor being ruined. 3.)What are you running for an air filter and porting?
  21. Assuming you are running open pod filters, you should try a 32.5 pilot jet and a 350 main jet. Needle and air screw adjustments will be something you have to fiddle with on your own.................................I see Plug Chops in you future.
  22. I am going to partially disagree with you. I think CPI's with stock porting might be tough to justify. If you have a port job, with stock carbs, on a stock stroke engine, I think CPI's perform fairly well. It all depends on where you are riding though I suppose. There porbably are better pipes out there for the this particular application, but if it's what he has, then it's what he has and we should try and help him. Stock carbs get a bad reputation because of the TORS crap and the slide to barrel tolerances. Beyond that, the stock carbs will allow more air through than several other brands/styles of larger bore carbs. (I know some one is going to get all butt hurt if I immediately mention which larger bore carbs) :ermm:
  23. He may not have welded the clutch ball, but that is definitely the area where the problem is. If you don't do a real good job locking down the jam nut on the clutch hat adjuster, the hut will back off and thus allow the friction from the clutch ball to unscrew the clutch hat adjuster. That happened to me approximately 12 different times on my first Banshee. That was also before I discovered Loc-tite. :geek:
  24. Ahha. That makes sense.
