  1. I would just run it as long as it is not more than 8oz of water (to make up a number). :geek:
  2. Here is my new(er) white thing.
  3. In such situations I always try to incorporate the use of my main finger (small joke that grew out of a set of twice retranslated Japanese instructions).
  4. I think Chase did the designs you pulled out of the old thread. :geek:
  5. U R Edumicated.
  6. There isn't anything really negative about using it, you just do not get the surfactant qualities that you would with Engine Ice or Water Whetter (not an antifreeze). :geek:
  7. It wasn't just the price I had issues with. The logo and such left something to be desired as well.
  8. Maybe you were using the wrong finger.
  9. Can you post a picture of it installed with Fullbores? :geek:
  10. Word. I am still unfamiliar with the DOT 5.1 stuff though. :geek:
  11. I can't do the design (nor would you want me to). I can barely draw a stick figure. I will however buy a few flags when the design gets done.
  12. Weird. I ran my compression gauge over with a truck, walked into a Sears store, said I broke it, and they handed me a new one.
  13. Generally you do not need to tighten the things down more than extra finger tight.
  14. Sears sells a nice kit that is of good quality and reasonably priced as well. It is far better than what you can buy from most auto parts stores (except NAPA) and is less expensive than Snap-on.
  15. I always thought that cafe press thing was kind of hokey. :geek:
  16. Ninjas are crazy.
  17. You have to watch out for that homo stuff. It'll crawl up your pant leg and fiddle with your weiner when you're least expecting it.
  18. Count me in for shirts, sweatshirts, and hats of any sort (my head gets cold).
  19. FYI: that OEM gasket thing is there to combat NVH issues. :geek:
  20. ...........either that or he has been locked in his bed room building model airplanes again.
  21. ....inherant reliability is up to the retard who owns the engine.
  22. BigRed dominates his bikes like a dirty, slutty hooker. I suspect the gusset work he does is just about right.
  23. I didn't read this entire thread......................., but here's what y'all need to do: PM Blowit on here. I say this because the method described in a CLymer manual does work, but it won't necessarily catch a fault all the time. Statot performance test with the style of stator found on many motorcycle'esque engines (such as the Banshee engine) is definitely more of an art form than a science. The straigh forward ressitance test with a DVOM will not always give you enough info to tell for certain if there is a problem. There is definitely a process involved here.......................and I do not feel comfortable giving advice on this, especially when you consider the hit and miss nature of a wound coil, AC rectifying device. :geek:
  24. A couple of generalizations are made here that could be misleading: For instance, the Moto GP and F1 folks might disagree with you about the rpm thing. Also, the hp/displacement relationship is a classic misconception that used to be relatively true in previous decades, but now is not true when you are speaking of modern engines. I'm not saying any of this to be an ass, but this is quite a wide topic for discussion and speaking to specifics could be misleading, atleast itinitially.
