  1. A few years ago, I was in Detroit near 10 Mile and I saw a guy get knifed because another bum wanted his shoes. By comparison, Portland bums will go shoeless befoire they knife anyone.
  2. You need to work on that spelling deal. You can be a genius, but if you can't spell, with email being a work place staple these days, it will be hard for you to be sucessful. Since I seem to be handing out unsolicited advice tonight, something you may want to consider for your future, is an out of state college. Idaho leave alot to be desired for a vehicle related job engineering market. Additonally, internships are becoming very important these days and local access for such things around a college is a good selling point for any engineering degree program.
  3. I have a few things to say here: 1.) I have heard a few things about RDZ in person from Matt S. and none of them were very nice. 2.) Rob may actually be retarded. I have spoke to the guy several times and he has tried to fill me up full of bullshit every time. When it comes to technical subjects, the guy just makes stuff up. When I called him on it, he tried to call me a idiot. 3.) If Dave doesn't like someone, I would be willing to bet that the someone in question is most assuredly a tool.
  4. Coo. I am thinking about the same thing.
  5. Interstingly enough (or maybe not), I just had a similair converstation comparing towns with a girl in Detroit. It basically wound up that Portland and Detroit both smell. but the bms in Portland would definitely lose in a fight with the bums in Detroit.
  6. ......................just keep asking questions. IMO that's the best way to learn fast. As a manager of sorts, I am constantly keeping unofficial score for the guys that work for me or with me. The guys that ask the most intelligent questions at a reasonable volume tend to also be the best guys I have. Sometimes it takes alot of drive to be the guy that stands up in front of folks and asks a question. It's the guys that don't ask and do something anyway that I wind up wanting to choke a little bit.
  7. From what the boys at Stewart & Stevenson in Denver were telling me, there is a huge amount of money to be made in the oil fields if you're a smart. hard worker.
  8. I took Geometry for math when I was in 9th grade. Depending on what you think you might want to do with yourself later on, I would make sure you get Algebra, Calculus, and Geometry handled. Beyond that, advanced math classes are used to weed out the retards at a college level. Which is pretty gay if you are a college kid who hasn't figured out a major yet. :geek:
  9. Detroit will do that to you (Detroit smells funny).
  10. Off hand, this is the first SSSS chick pic that I had available. My secretary from TRD is on the right and her daughter is on the left. I highly doubt I was interested in that pink Rhino............................................
  11. Yeah, I just got that....................however, it's like VD, you don't ever really want to get it. :ermm:
  12. If it's your sheep, it's not cheating, or atleast that's what I hear. :ermm:
  13. .............and by tough, I suspect you mean retarded. :ermm:
  14. Statistics are actually kind of fun, or atleast I think so. It's Statics that is the real bitch. Between Statics and multi-diff. calculus I am pretty sure I killed more brain cells than I did retain information to fill them. :geek:
  15. This is only the case if the prep work on the part was done in a crappy manner, thus allowing the part to begine to corrode before the chroming process begins. :geek:
  16. Stiffy has a life time warranty on all of their stuff. I actually can't recall breaking any of their stuff where I had an opportunity to use their warranty either.
  17. I haven't launched a rocket, but I have played with two balls at once. I guess I am an over achiever.
  18. IF you are not going to run a gasket and jest use a gasket sealer you absolutely have to understand the thinckness of the OEM gasket and have your porting and head adjusted to compensate for the lesser thickness of the gasket sealer. You also need tobe sure that the bases of the cylinders and the face of the cases are true (they are usually not). :geek:
  19. http://quadflags.com/index.php
  20. Copy cat.
  21. AKA: The don't buy Blaster parts off eBay and screw around with the seller incident.
  22. You would too, and you'd like it. How's the BigRed video/pictures project coming?
  23. Spacer plates are known for causing air leaks, hence my previous comments. :geek:
  24. ...................alright, pick something. I don't really care what it is (it could have a big dick on it for all that it matters). I will buy a red one ad a blue one. The user name thing is kind of cool!
