  1. I'm tellin' ya................it's all about moving you ignition box 2 inches to the left or your coil three inches ot the right. You will make eleventy billion horsepower with that setup. I think you might have to account for the angle of the dangle and the heat of the beat as well though.
  2. I would say yes to the impeller as it is a reliability issue more than anything else. The OEM units fail without warning, in which case you find out it failed too late out in the middle of the dunes.
  3. That an interesting mode of failure. It sort of looks like damage cause by reed chatter, but not really. I am wondering if Blowit may be onto something with his incorrect port timing idea. Do you know what your port timing is?
  4. I seriously have not been able to give things away on here.................
  5. ....................literacy is overrated.
  6. The V-Force reeds are carbon fiber, which really doesn't melt. The epoxy in the reeds might have become solvent or gotten hot to the point of changing shape, but I have not heard of ither thing happening.
  7. The problem is that it really doesn't get you much more travel, especially with the OEM link. IMO you are better off with a resprung and revalved OEM unit. :geek:
  8. When I was at Matt's in April there were no sign of Vito's pipes around..................I'm not sure what to tell you guys. I Atleast I guess he is not making them, though he may have had something to do with the design.
  9. Do we need to talk about the superman underpants you are wearing right now?
  10. It would be more believable if you spelled phsyic correctly........................
  11. The owner's user name is Lee on here. You can send him a PM.
  12. Yeah, I have also spoke with Matt. He says they're not his work. One thing is for sure, Matt does not make them. Andy from GRR seems to claim the credit for the Vito's pipes. I think I read something, somewhere that Rob from RDZ also claimed to be the designer of the Vito's pipes, but he's an ass clown, so who knows.
  13. I moved my Dyna box 2 inches to the left. Now, I have 50 more horspepower and 2 more degrees of timing. Dave is correct with regard to combustion chamber volume and combustion pressure. The basis for this thread is retarded.
  14. ..............I don't think that is accurate. Atleast according to the folks I have spoken with. I believe the guy that put together the GRR pipes is actually who Vito's had do the design work.
  15. ...................uhhhhhhhhh, What?
  16. I used to be all over that game in college. I don't seem to have time for it now. That game is a blast.
  17. I'm tellin' ya, you can't even give stuff away around here.
  18. How about you quit being a poor college student........................I know a few people who could hook you up with a few seasons old trophy truck or Class 1 car if you can come up with the cash. I don't think they take credit cards.
  19. I am still interested in how the guy that originally posted this came up with the info.
  20. How are you measuring the timing advance? There really isn't much of a chance that what your are getting is a direct result of the spark plug. Possibly the plugs you are comparing these to are a much higher resistance and actually retarding the timing due slow voltage rise. :geek:
  21. .........................nice.
  22. The real answer is that I lead an engine development group/facility. :geek:
  23. My old job was certainly alot sexier, but this new job has a better future. If I had a family, I certainly wouldn't be where I am at or doing what I am doing now. I will have to slow it down at some point though. :geek:
  24. I manually masturbate caged monkeys for the purposes of artificial ensimination.......................or whatever Cole says I do.
  25. .......it took me a second to get that. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
