  1. Hey everybody, I'm thinking about remoing my tors setup. I'm kinda unsure about drilling into my carbs and installing the idle kit. Is anybody here interested in doing it for me if I pay them. I will send the tors removal kit with it to whoever would be interested in doing it for me. Also, do i need to purchase a new throittle cable for the tors removal kit? Thanks guys for the help.
  2. Can you replace the 2 factory nuts on the axle? I see alot of people inquiring about them and was wondering if i could use a aftermarket one on my stock axle. Thanks for your input.
  3. Is your clutch stock? If so on a 98 I'd say it's time for a clutch.
  4. I had the same similar prob after replacing my cable. I had to keep adjusting it to where the slides were just right. Also, make sure that the cable is routed correctly. It might be binding or too much tensiion on cable and pulling slides up thus keeping it running even with the key off.
  5. I just replaced mine a couple of months ago. It is a complete cable assy from throttle to carbs. That would be too easy to just replace half of the cable.
  6. Yes get a Noss head. you won't be dissapointed. Dlnoss is awesome to deal with. Plus you are supporting fellow hq'ers. Quality of head is the best i have ever seen. Plus with noss head you don't have to removed head studs and installed new ones.

  9. hey everybody, On my 98 shee i think that the steering stem is possibly tweaked at the top by the bars. Is this where they are the weakest and prone to bending. Just seems like bars are tilted a bit down on one side. Any help would be great.

  12. I too run Kenda Klaws. Not bad tire. Still won't hook up well. Like said before it's a banshee get used to it having alot of wheel spin. I used to have itp holeshots and they hooked up really well.
  13. I did the smae thing on mine. But when you get the rpm's up the needle likes to vibrate alot. Got tired of it so i disconnected it. But all in all it worked pretty good.
  14. Go with a mech water temp gauge. I f you want one that is not bulky and sticks out tyr www.warpdrive.com and look for modle called heatseeker. iI use both styles. Heatseeker up by the rad and the other (mech gauge) down in the lower hose by the head.

  16. I use upp chain slides and rollers. I like them alot. have had them for two years and little signs of wear. The whole set for a banshee is a little pricey though.

  22. I've heard the horror stories about plugs coming loose and bought a billet plug lock which also works good for a spark plug wrench when i need it. I bought it from trinity racing.
