Even so it's still a good idea for him to go out and take a look at his own rims you never know when they could have been switched. Mine came with a set of rear Tri-z rims and I wouldn't have known with out looking to see what they were.
Get yourself a tiny tach like $50 from Dennis Kirk or elsewhere. all you do is mount it and wrap the tach wire around a spark plug wire. I used to run one with no problems. Make sure you get the twin cylinder 2 stroke version.
I read in Muscle Mustangs and fast fords where they changed the pully in a lightning and pumped out 525 HP. The fuel system can handle it and they talked about how those engines are severely choked down from the factory. That's been a couple years ago though. I still wish there was a 4x4 version
The Clarks ran them, my understanding is that they hook up really good but are super heavy. You can get close to the same hook and alot less weight at about half the price if you go with some Kenda Knarlys.
That's over by Omaha, I heard Nebraska got over a foot of snow the other day but I'm not sure how far east it went. I'd guess they got some snow in Logan but it's just a guess.
I use 5 gallon jugs and always put 5 gallons in them. I also use Amsoil 100:1 mixed at 80:1 so all I have to do is dump in one bottle to my 5 gallon jug and I'm good to go.
I agree I'd be going with the tandem if it were me. I just translated what I could. I could be off on what he said but I thought I'd take a stab at it. His sig is english why aren't his posts?
When I was down in Louisiana working last year one of the guys there was changing a light and freaked out because he got brown recluses all over his hand. He was scared that he got bit so he just stared at his hand for about 30 minutes. I had no idea what the big deal was so they showed me these pictures. Now I understand his worry.
Anybody know of any good websites for dirtbikes? Got a buddy that has a CRF450X and he wants new tires but we can't find any good information on what people are running. I looked at a couple of forums but the info seems like it's all from a young easily manipulated kids instead of people who know anything. He's looking for a recommenddation for intermediate terrain tires used for trail riding at an above average pace and skill level. Any help would be appreciated. I know some of you guys have dirtbikes on here and I like to keep them seperate as much as possible from the banshee site but I just can't find any decent info.
