    Looking for some carbs. About the 34mm range anything close will do, let me know
  2. hey i got it man it was alot easier to get it all hooked up then thread the spring on last. what a pain in the ass. Waitin to get cylinders back so i cant fire her up and ride. wish
  3. The tap size is M6 * 0.75. So I put the slides on first without the spring then just thread the spring around the cable. I am just having a problem getting the two cables to stay in the little plastic peice that connects them to the upper portion of the cable that goes to the assembly.
  4. need some help gettin the tors kit on. do you install slides springs etc. then hook it up to the other half that goes to the throttle assembly
  5. If you don't have any port work done, then just go with the pro-lites
  6. CD I have told you a few times in here that the slides are not supposed to be bottomed all the way. You have to lift them up some or you will just flood the engine. If you don't know the screws are on the side of the carb.
  7. You should be able to just jumper the wires together R/B and B are the wire colors.
  8. TXBLUESHEE your mods are basically handling mods with a few on the engine side, hard to believe you hit 87 with just basically a 20 over bore and some reeds and pipes.

I don't think there is anywhere in the pine barrens legal unless chatsworth is in the pine barrens. thats the worst thing about jersey is the lack of places to ride. i moved to florida for awhile to go to motorcycle mechanics institute. it is loaded with places to ride here, haven't been chased "yet", alot of legal state forest land with miles and miles of trails, only prob is you run out of gas to damn fast. good luck well have to get up and ride when i move home in dec.

  12. Check for resistance and IB on the coils.
  13. Only a few reasons that it would keep frying them. If you have everything hooked up right than all I can really think of causing it would be a weak spark or no spark. Is the cushion that it mounts to still there. Maybe vibration.
  14. Do you know what you are checking for? Check for ACV from the pulser and from the source excitor going into the box and see what ya get while kicking the bike over
  15. Test the different wires going into the cdi box and find out what wire is bad going into the box. That may help lead to the problem.
  16. Try to adjust your idle screws on the carb maybe your slides need to be lifted up some. If they are seated all the way down it won't idle.
  17. Either one its not really a big deal between the two as long as heat range is correct.
  18. Does anyone know if you switch from a K&N filter to a foam one if you can use the umi adapter from the K&N or do you need a new kind of adapter.
  19. Once it started after you pulled it would it run with you giving it gas. Then die when you let it idle?
  20. Why would you need new studs. I don't have one but people i know do and they didin't put in new studs. i have a wicked motorsports head and that uses stock studs as well.
  21. You said that your carb slides are all the way bottomed out, don't remember if you have TORS on or off, and too many posts to look, but try raising your slides alittle (evenly). See what happens.

Another little help; make sure you have the proper free-play in your throttle cabe, while you have the carbs apart check to make sure your o-rings in your float seat are ok, after sitting for so long they may be bad. Also you said that spark plugs come pre-gapped, who is to say the stock-boy didn't drop the plug and narrow the gap, always check.
  23. Start big, also I hope you plan on running race gas with that much compression.

  25. Hey all, I'm looking for a float valve seat. Ihave a bad o-ring in mine and I'm trying to avoid having to buy the whole assembly. Apprecite the help if you can.
