  1. I agree you either have some serious clearance issues, or you leaked some coolant and got some hydrolock, especially looking at where it broke. good luck

  4. try to check and see if you have enough free play on your throttle cable. it may be holding the carb slides up. also does it help if you pull the choke out while its running.
  5. clip is already at top, and snorkel is removed. right now its at 2 turns out ill adjust and get back tomorrow. thanks
  6. not sure the pilot it's been the same since mods were put on i'll let you know that. needle is 2nd from the top, running ptr mids, wicked motorsports cool head, v-force reeds, k@n w/ airbox - the snorkel. what you think pilot should be around and it just started to happen maybe carbs out of sync gotta get tors elim. kit
  7. if it comes with the springs put em on. can, hurt and its not hard.
  8. just tried taking off air box lid didn't help air screws 2 turns out, when creeping it feels like right side not firing as much as left side. it is firing but alot more coming out of left exhaust pipe. hmmmmmm
  9. Shee is bogging down about 1/4 throttle. reacts good from 1/2 on. it'll sometimes give a good pop then go. plugs are a tannish coler. What ya think pilot to rich or maybe just air screws?

  13. my paul turners burnt a hole in my boost bottle. high temp hose did the trick.
  14. Never had any problem with my durablue, haven't heard of anyone else either.
  15. start from the center and work your way out. only torque about half the spec then repeat steps completing torque spec. don,t quite remember but stock head might have the number sequence on it.
  16. Also check to make sure you have enough freeplay in your throttle cable.
  17. supposed to be around 3-4mm of throttle play before engagement. mine was off but carbs were still in sync. just tap your throttle and see if there is any play in it.
  18. hey i know this sounds dumb, i just had the same problem with my bike idled reaaly high till i hit throttle or pulled out choke then it woulg go away then come right back. the problem with mine was actually the throttle adjustment was holding my slides up alittle bit. i went through all the jetting stuff and idle screws and air screws and everthing you can think of. just really saying don't overlook the obvious like i did.
  19. we all wrote in and overlooked the obvious. throttle cable just needed to be adjusted. prob fixed thanks all.

  21. i know to get rid of them but need to ride tpmorrow early am. anyway been idling really high turned idle knobs all the wat c/clockwise till it stoped then backed off 1/2 now it wont idle at all any suggestions on where they shoul be adjusted to

  24. are the idle screws the two phillps on the tors boxes my f'n clymer is in jersey.
  25. also if i just barely barely touch the throttle it wants to stall but just then it is fine going through the gears though plugs are pretty caramely too.
