  1. Did you build that bike like that, or buy it? Reason I ask is it looks very similar to a friend that sold his.
  2. Castor is good, but very thick an dmessy, builds up alot of carbon on pistins (good insulator though). Thats prob how he guessed. I run the stuff and love it. Big difference between different premix oils and the carbon build up of each.
  3. Looking to take best offer, located in Florida. Depending on offers I may be willing to pay frieght. Not quite sure how to post pics on this web site, when I learn I will. As for the quad mods: White fullbores (front and back), msr bars, holeshot tires, dura blue +2 axle, Paul Turner mid range pipes, fat boy 2 silencers, v- force reeds, tors removed, wicked motorsports torque head, boost bottle, fresh rebuild bored .020", pro lite pistons, chrome: gas cap, throttle cover, water pump cover, clutch cover, rear brake fluid cap, duncan racing front bumper, k&n filter, vaz racing chain and sprockets (about 3-4 hours on them), umf chain rollers. Think that is it, bike is well taken care of. I am a motorcycle mechanisc so it has been maintained well. Willing to trade for 250r, or a new 4 stroke and, depending on bike I may give bike and cash. Email adress : [email protected].
  4. I think you can find a pretty good share of work down here. Its pretty f'ed up. Make sure you are liscensed, they were bustin alot of people who were doing unliscensed work.

  6. Yeah that sure helps alot(thank you god.) The only problem is Charley was a cat 2 by the time it hit Orlando, and it did tons of damage. Charley passed in 90mins. This is a cat 2 that will be here for 36hrs. A bit worried, but in a very strong apartment complex. Shioot for $839 plus $85 for the garage, I hope its strong. Problem is there is already water flooding some apartments here and its just the begining. Did about 3 hours of sandbag filling so hopefully itll help. I'll keep you informed till we lose our power. Hope it don't ruin too much(including all our wonderfull MX tracks!!!!!!!)
  7. Sittin here in orlando. About 45mph sustained winds with lots of rain.. Scary they say its only gonna get worse from here on out. Took A-arms and axle off quad and brought it in the house(plus the bars.) Least I got my priorities set..
  8. I'm here in Orlando gettin ready for round 2. reas good luck i hope everything works out for you. Do you surf as well as ride?
  9. Thanks man I'll check it out and let you you if it helped any.
  10. if you have a clymer manual go to page 232 if not let me know and ill tell you what tests you can do.
  11. Does anyone know of any good sites that tell you specs. I have to replace chain and sprockets on cbr929 and just looking for some torque specs. Any help greatly apreciated. Thanks
  12. I agree with you on the CPI BB pipes, but don't be fooled dynos can lie very easily.
  13. I have both a snap on and a craftsman and i get the same readings on both. As for the question on (Are they metric?) they read in psi's. If you are talking about the threads for the spark plug holes, dont worry about it the kit you buy will have one to fit your hole. make sure you use one with the same length thread as your plug so the piston doesn't make contact with it. May sound stupid, but i've seen it happen.
  14. You should be good with the mains that you ordered, as for the pilots you are just going to have to ride it and see. If anything you may have to go up just one size. Just ride it at 1/4 throttle and see what shee does. Make sure you have good throttle response from 1/4 throttle up.
  15. Yes, just leave them unplugged.
  16. Lechicharon, the reason they say thousandths is because that is what you measure you piston and cylinder specs to. If you measure to the hundreth you will not meet clearance specs.
  17. I have the white ones, unless you can find em on e bay. You'll definatly be paying some good money for them.
  18. You bore clinders by that number? I mic mine out.
  19. hey ledofthezep, do you have ohlins all the way around? if so what about did they run you? thanks bro sweet bike too man.
  20. wasn't sure if the bikes were on the trailor or not my bad.
  21. yOU CAN STICK TWO SAME DIAMETER DRILL BIT IN YOUR CARBS AND ADJUST YOUR SLIDES TILL THEY ARE BOTH RESTING ON THE DRILL BITS.
  22. EXHAUST: PTR MIDS, TIRES: ITP HOLESHOTS, REEDS: V-FORCE 2'S OR 3'S, PISTONS: WISECO PROLITES. WELL FOR YOUR HILL CLIMBING AND FAST TRAILRIDING YOU MAY LIKE THE PTR HIGH REVS. JUST MY OPIONION.
  23. DID THE BIKES BURN UP? SOUNDS LIKE A STORY OF MINE. MY FRIEND JUST BAUGHT HIS BANSHEE. TWO DAYS LATER HE WAS PUTTING ON SOME NERF BARS IN AN OUTSIDE SHED. WELL THERE WAS A KEROSENE HEATER IN THE SHED. HIS DOG CAME IN AND KNOCKED A GAS CAN OVER INTO THE HEATER AND UP GOOES THE BIKE THE SHED AND THE DOG.
  24. YOU SHOULD RUN PREMIUM GAS IN YOUR SHEE ANYWAY. YOU GOTTA TREAT HER GOOD AND ITLL DO THE SAME, YAMALUBE EHH JUST KNOW YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I RUN CASTOR AS WELL AND FROM RESEARCH IT IS ALOT BETTER FOR RING SEALING AND LUBRICATION.
