  1. IF YOU HAVE SOME PRETTY GOOD NICKS IN YOUR DOMES THAT CAN,T BE SMOOTHED OUT YOU NEED TO REPLACE THEM. THEY WILL JUST CAUSE HOT SPOTS RESULTING IN THE SAME PROB. IS YOUR IGNITION ADVANCED?
  2. CHECK OUT FMXRAMPS.COM I HAVE THREE OF THEIR RAMPS AND THEY WORK GREAT. THEY HAVE A REALLY SMOOTH TRANSITION ON THEM. MY GAPS ARE BETWEEN 60-80FT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO HAVE A REALLY GOOD LANDING AREA. I REALLY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THE BANSHEE AS YOUR FREESTYLE BIKE. IT CAN BE DONE, BUT I LIKE A LITTLE BIT MORE OF A BALANCED BIKE GOING 60FT. I RIDE MY 250R WHEN RIDING MY RAMPS. WISH I HAD A CAMERA THAT WOULD UPLOAD PHOTOS. GOOD LUCK.
  3. what did you do to fix the other problem?
  4. You may have to run a higher octane gas when you advance your timing. that can be a disadvantage depending on your wallet. it will stay put if installed correctly
  5. also how does your head look?
  6. holy shiot thats some serious troubles there. are you referring to your dome size when you say you have 19's in there. If so you probably shouldn't be running pump gas alone. also is your timing advaced at all. as for splitting the cases, unless it went out the exhaut port the metal had to go somewhere. Atleast pour some gas in your crankcaste and flush it around then blow some good pressured air in and see if you spot any of those shavings. some reasons for your problem are prolonged exposure to improper air/fuel mixtue (lean) improper ignition timing or too low of octane. list your mods and jetting setup. by the size of that hole your problem has been there for awhile.
  7. Did you take your cylinders off and take a look at your pistons and down in your crankcase yet. I would reccomend doing that before putting that head back on. Then get an after market head instead of that stock one.
  8. I'll pick one up today and let you guys know when I get back from riding. I kinda had a feeling that would be the cure, just wasn't sure what to bump it up to. Thanx for yhe help.
  9. sredish where are you im calling for you help.
  10. I'm breaking up around the low to mid range. It's fine when I pin the throttle, but just crusin its breakin up a bit. I have ptr mids, bored 20 thou, v-force reeds thats really all that effects jetting, oh k&n with lid on but no snorkle and cut inside. Stock pilot, needle 4th clip, and 310 main. What do y'all think. Plug looks ok on a mid range chop though, just not sure what the fix will be.
  11. Take your carbs off your bike and look at what you have.
  12. You can leave the needle stock otr go down to the 4th clip. You can only really get close setups being that each bike is different due to location and what not. The 300 mains should be close. I have a similar setup but with ptr mids and bored 20 thou. and I run 310's and stock pilots with needle in 4th air box lid on( due to dusty shit in Florida and a K&N. The two of those don't mix too well) Good luck, but you are close so just run some plug chops. I kept going up in size till I felt myself lose power, then went down to the next one before that. Just one adjustment at a time.
  13. I was talking to someone who said that he could'nt get his bike jetted right so he changed his premix ratio till his plugs looked right. I myself don't agree with it, just wondering if any of you have ever heard of people doing this or not. More or less a conversation post.
  14. I have the wicked motorsports head. It is a good o- ring head. Good to be able to change dome sizes quickly.
  15. Did you get the v-force 2 or the v- force 3 reeds.
  16. Looks like either too much piston to cylinder clearance or possibly hydro lock the wat that the skirt is broken like that. Im sure you'll find something in the crankcase. Peices like to hide in the bearings so make sure you replace them all.
  17. Look in the back of any good quad magazine. What engine are you asking about. Dennis Kirk has parts for the 250 and 500 quadracer.
  18. I think 94bansheerider pretty well hit that one on the head. I think we have all made that mistake. Is the chain loose until you sit on it then it tightens up on you. If it does then your chain is under the roller instead of on top.
  19. Is the battery any good?
  20. You push the adjuster all the way toward the front of the bike and...... Nevermind the best advice is to spend the 30 bucks and get a clymers manual it will tell you the same thing as any of us will.
  21. What seals are you trying to replace?
  22. Yeah I am not to sure about those 190 jets.
  23. You don' want any rips in any rubber around the engine. Replace it.
  24. I would put a new cross hatch in it before throwing some brand new rings in it.
  25. You can check your rings by taking them off the piston "CAREFULLY" then place them in the cylinder evenly, then use a feeler gauge to measure the gap.
