    BLING!

hey mike, did you by chance go to reedsport high? If you need a clutch cover, send me yours and i will polish it.
  2. i live here in north bend and can hear riding at night from boxcar.
  3. I did the exact same thing this weekend!! I was going across some whoops in the sand in 3rd gear. I brought the front end up to make the trip across the whoops a little more bearable, and when i set the front down....snap. I looked down just in time to see my lower left a arm hit the sand and the tire whipped sideways... and over the handle bars i went.
  4. how bout the frame and front hubs?
  5. To run stock pistons, not the 795 series, take your domes in to a machine shop and get 2 mm cut out. This will give you the same compression without using a stroker plate. But as for the port, I agree with rebel banshee. You will not realize the full gains that are capable without a "port to the crank" i made the same mistake, and have to tear my motor down again this winter and have the cylinders re-done. I was getting blown away by modded raptors..camkit, pipe, high comp piston. I should have been blowing him away, but with the port job i got, i am only running about 60% power.
  6. nah...he was f*cking the mayo sandwich...while eating his sister...
  7. Be very careful with the carb cleaner. Even though it will clean the bearing with no residue, and air leak may occur because of the high amount of solvents in the brake cleaner may eat the seals on the sides of the crank. Just tring to throw a little warning and my .02 cents. i just had to split my cases because i cleaned the outside with carb cleaner and it ate through the case half sealant. leaked air directly to the crank
  8. i have requested that weekend off, so i will try to make an appearance out there to see you all!!
  9. this may not have happened on the dunes, but on the way to the dunes.... I was supposed to be helping a friend set up a booth on Saturday morning. He had a pretty bad night, and decided he was not going to set up for the day. So i was up at the place he rented cleaning up my bike, waiting for my girlfriend to bring me an oil fill plug and some transmission fluid. I got a call from her cell phone. At first i figured it was her asking if i wanted anything to eat, but no. I was some dude telling me she was in an accident. So I went to the scene, only 5 minutes away. Holy shit!!! The front of the pickup she was driving looked pretty good, but when i saw the side and rear, I knew she was hurt. She was turning off the highway to the left. She was stopped, waiting for traffic when blam, she got rearended by a motorhome. She ended up with a broken back and a broken rib. her L1 vertebrae had a starburst fracture, and was very unstable. Sunday afternoon she went through 6 hours of surgery to repair part of her vertebrae, and may still have to wait for another surgery to fix the rest. I am so glad she was not in her car, a dodge neon, or my truck, a regular cab dodge ram. She was driving and extended cab dodge dakota. If she would have been in my truck, her banshee would have probably mashed her head. But the extended cab of the dakota gave her a little room. The banshee frame is bent in 4 or 5 different places. i am bummed she will not be riding at all for at least a year
  10. they make a tool that holds the clutch boss so it does not turn. i bought one for 30 bucks at my local yammy shop. one of the best tools i have bought for the machine!! it has come in handy many times, on my bike, and on others!! the clutch is adjusted on the perch and on the top of the case. get a banshee manual from clymers. this book helps a lot when rebuilding, and explains step by step, the procedures and torque setting used.
  11. check out e bay..i got a set directly from fullbore..they were the discontinued blue, which perfectly matched my frame. i picked up the fronts for 224 regular 355 and the rears for 142 regular 210. here is a pic...
  12. i just had the same problem on my gf's banshee. i had the needle on the second from the top and blubbered at 1/2to3/4 throttle. i dropped the needle progressively to the clip before the lowest position and it runs super strong now. no dead spots or blubbering.
  13. how about stock unported cylinders? how much?
  14. what size are the dune trackers 21,or22?, and where in oregon...i am in north bend
  15. it is what i usae and have never had any problems!!
  16. i will be there for the whole shebang. my bike will be in max billet's site. due to the size and price restraints over vendor spots last year, max billet will be at the pelican market. here is a pic of my bike, so if you see it, i should be too far away. stop by and say hi!
  17. i think the shocks are awesome. I have not been able to ride them too much, but from the initial tests, thay made a heck of a difference. I paid 250 shipped for mine. if you get elkas or any other shocks for that matter, they should fit fine.
  18. here is a pic of mine...i also had to take a little off the bottom of both shocks themselves
  19. i figure about 70-80. stage 3 port-polish, 33 tapered to 35 keihins with k&n singles, 165 psi coolhead, v force, pro circuit pipes and silencers, 4 mm stroker, advanced timing +4, 1/2 race 1/2 premium mix w/golden spectro oil. this is just my wild guess....but i think it is close
  20. i was out playing on the dunes a couple of weeks ago and shee was running great. then all the sudden as soon as i let the bike drop below about 4 grand, shee just dies. Could not get it started without a shot of carb cleaner. then still same thing happens. will run great when revs are up, but as soon as they drop off...dead. i replaced plugs, and still same thing. i tore both carbs off to check pilots and clean. put them back on and the same thing still. i then pulled plugs to see if they were getting gas, both were wet. then checked to see if there was sufficient spark, and there was. i dont have a compression tester, but cylinders seemed to have compression. they would blow my finger off no prob when kicking over. any other things to check before i should take it to she shop and pay for it to be done?
  21. What a bunch of asses!! I couldnt even finish reading all the posts because my blood pressure was skyrocketing! some people are just so ignorant!!
  22. i remember a post a couple months ago about rear overload springs. someone on the HQ was selling them. i tried a search, but found nothing. does anyone have any ideas.....i need one thanks
  23. i will be camping in spots 45-47-and49. feel free to join!!
  24. Did you do some grinding on the shock itself? I know when i put mine on, i had to grind about1/4 to 1/3 of an inch off the bottom of the shock to get them to fit.
