i had seen someone else post a response to the lsr hub and just made me question it. they said they got stuck in a sand hole, tried to power out, and bam... the sprocket was toast.
i am always looking at adding some bling to my bike, and was wondering how strong the billet sprocket hubs are. i should be running about 70-75 horse, and have heard of some people blowing them off the sprocket. i only ride in sand. any info would be appreciated!!
i have heard that twister billet cranks has made the 3 cylinder banshee cranks. thier website is twistercrankshaft.com. as for the machine work, i think it would be a pretty sweet project!! horsepower...and reliability i dont know.
it depends on what kind of power you want, do you want top end, mid-top, or bottom end power. what kind of riding do you do? dune, dirt, ice? this will better help make a decision!!
i recieved my stroker crank off e bay, and had trouble finding the 795 series pistons anywhere also. i ended up going to the local yammy shop and ordered them $$$$$
dnhyoung, the chutes by the railroad tracks? the only spots closed are the spots right next to the tracks. everything else is open. they just blocked access from the railroad tracks to boxcar. the rr company got tired of unburying the tracks after each weekend about banshee hill, wait till this summer when the hill dries out and the wind blows the other direction= steep and soft!!
sure ill organize a trip, but i will need some help getting organized, as i have never done it before. figure out some dates that are good for you all, and let me know. i can usually the time i need off work.
i also got to ride one that wasnt broke in yet. it was rough on the dunes and if i went slow, i could feel every bump. but the harder i let it rip, the smoother it was!!
when i cant get out riding at night i can hear the drags at boxcar clearly. that
gives me the rididng itch so bad. i actually do have a bit of room in front on my
house. my girlfriends brother and his friends come up from brookings a lot. he
has a 26 foot warrior, and his friends have trailers. my shee is tore down right
awaiting chrome and billet goodies i just cant wait for summer though. a good
riding trip when the weather turns sunny would be nice!!
