Exactly, two seasons ago he was falling all of the time but he was ahead so far in the 125s he could still pull it out. I think if he falls in the 250 class he won't be able to make up the distance RJV

I agree, my point with Pastrana is I don't think he will just let Bubba go by because he is "faster". Bubba is going to have to push to get by all these guys and push hard which could mean a little time in the dirt. Now with that said, if Pastrana stays healthy and if he maintains his conditioning and if he stays on two wheels, I think you could easily see him on the podium this season, maybe even with a win or two, and if all the other guys are in the same boat, a win or two, anyone could take the championship which is what I am looking forward to. A true championship battle. RJV

Bubba is going to have to fight past not only all of the top guys, reed ,rc, mcgrath, whindam, pastrana and others, but also Laroco won't just lay down for him, ferry won't, fonseca wont, tortelli won't, vullimen won't etc. If bubba doesn't get the whole shot, he is going to have to work a hell of a lot harder to get to the front, by that time those top guys are going to be gone. Everyone in the 125's just let him go for the most part, even some of the vets like Rhyno. No matter what happens, MX has needed a season like this for a long time. I think team Suzuki has the best chance at domination this year with RC, Pastrana and Tortelli. If they ride as a team look out. RJV

I saw that happen to a guy. Playing hoops, jumped up grabbed the rim, legs went out from under him, he let go fell tried to catch himself with one arm and snap, nasty loookin. He said it didn't hurt that bad but freaked him out when he saw it. Freaked me out when I saw it. RJV

Hey guys, electric start banshee's have been around for a couple years now and they are great, everytime I fall off in a race on ATV Off Road Fury, I get back on the bike and it starts itself. Pretty cool and the way the bike handles and jumps, it does not seem the added weight has any effect at all. RJV ps: Maybe I have had one too many.........

I was't trying to be argumentative. I am probabally a year or so out before I fork over money for a new mx bike so I am honestly interested in what Suzuki is going to offer as well as Kawasaki in the future as for the 450/250 class. When you said you had heard or read the Suzuki was faster than the CRF, I wanted to know about it as I make plans for the future. My little brother has transworld so I will dig through the pile of mags next time i am a his house and look for it. And you are right, the YZ450F has one hell of a motor, almost scary which is why it does so freakin well in the YFZ Quad. Yamaha knows how to make power. Peace- RJV

BFG. I ran all terrains for 50k (they were shot) and just bought a set of Mud Terrains. Personally, I think they are worth the money. They wear well and you get a lot less road noise from the BFG than any other tire I have ever ran. RJV

not to dog on ur bike or n e thing but im not a big honda fan. honestly i would wait until the rmz450 and the trail version of it come out. i know they already have a drz but im sure they will update that one to match the motor characteristics of the rmz and i read they were gobbs faster than the honda and pretty much a toss up between yamaha and ktm for the motor. thats just my opinion tho. I do like the newer hondas tho as much as I hate to say so go for it man. 286524[/snapback] I don't know what mags you have been reading, but everything I have seen has said nothing other than the new 05 CRF is the best moto-x bike ever...period. I have not seen one article indicate in anyway that any of the other bikes might even challenge the Honda. I ride a KX250 for MX now and obviously the Banshee for fun, but I fear my next MX bike wil be the CRF. But if you have seen some other articles saying negative stuff about the CRF or that the RMZ will beat it I would like to read it, let me know. Thanks. RJV

The best thing you can do is ride both. Sounds like your buddies have Raptors already. Try to get one of them to let you ride it for a while and see what you think. I assume you have ridden a Banshee before so you may already know what the 'shee is all about. Personally, if I am going to the Dunes, Banshee no question. But for woods riding, I will take the Raptor everytime. White Bros E2 Pipe, K&N and Jetting make the Raptor come to life, especially in the woods. I am lucky enough to have both and have ridden both in the woods. Just my 2 cents though. RJV

I wasn't thinking about the extra step for chroming aluminum and I doubt the guy who gave me the 50.00 quote was either. That alone could change the way i do things. I know there are several threads on polishing, maybe I will just do it that way. Besides, the wife said I need a project anyway. Peace- RJV

hence the dillema, on one hand, low maintenance high shine, on the other, durability yet a high amount of maintenance. either way it is going to look good. Had to take the side case off for some other maintenance, looking at either polishing or chroming it. A shop quoted me 50 bucks to chrome it. Any body have pictures of polish vs. Chrome? RJV

AMEN BROTHER!! The blue seems to be the worst, my wife's old blaster looked like crap after one spill. White is the way to go 'cause you never know when you might get tossed, even if you think you are doing everything right. RJV

For the money I wuold go FMF, probabally the Gnarly over the Fatty just because they are built a little tougher. FMF Fatty, Shave the head to about 19cc, drop a tooth on the front sprocket and you will be a happy camper. My 2 cents. RJV

He knows the truth now. He knows he was wrong about everything, wrong about the people he persecuted, wrong about Isreal, wrong about his own Country and its "right to land". keep us posted on how it is, I am trying to decide to buy it or wait until the MX/ATV Unleashed comes out in FEB. I am curious as to what bikes they have, all the screen shots look like crap and I can't tell what bike it is if it is even a brand name bike at all. RJV

My wife had a blaster. before we bought her a new bike she was able to ride a 400ex, a z400, a yfz450, a Warrior, a banshee (of course) and a Raptor (we have a lot of friends who ride). When it was all said and done we ended up witht he Raptor. To her the Warrior felt slow and heavy compared to the blaster. The Raptor has tons of power and she really can put it in third and just leave it. She also rides about twice as fast on the Raptor as she did on the Balster. She says it "inspires confidence" because she knows she has enough power to go anywhere as with the Blaster where she had to shift all the time to keep it going. Also the Raptor suspension and ergos make it comfortable for her. The added bonus for getting a Raptor, I piped, jetted and threw on a K&N. Now I have a bike that I can ride if I ever get a hankerin for something a little different. Finally, I read a shoot out recently were Honda's old school 300ex beat the "New Raptor 350" in almost every catagory. That has got to tell you something. I WOULD GO RAPTOR RJV

ATVOF2 is going to be tough to beat. MX Unleashed is an awsome game though and they are going to do a combo game it could be really good if they do it right.
