  1. It is a bunch of bull. Buddy just bought his fiance a brand new LE Raptor, bought pipe, K&N, Prodesign Adapter wheels and extreme haulers. Needless to say he dropped some coin on the package. They did the same thing. We told them we were going to the Dunes and they assured us the wheels and tires would be in before we left. 2.5 weeks later still now wheels and tires. Call and ask them about it and they give us some line about how hard it is to get 9 paddle extemes. Funny part is the shop in Florence had two sets, the shop in Eugene had 1 set, Their main competitions had a couple sets, even the MX Shop next to the mx track in Albany had a set. So we tell the guy this and he says he does not believe us at which time my buddy tells him to give him the money back. Then we are told they can "only give an instore credit" because it was part of his "package deal". My friend just about went through the roof. After talking to a manager and a guy in parts, the tires some how appeared the next day. What a bunch of crap. RJV
  2. Dude, I don't know what I was thinking in my first post but Brooke just nailed it with her post. If that is the attitude she has about it forget what I said and move on. RJV
  3. Use the last one on business cards and for you sign, use any of the others as a free decal for customers or people who stop in to get your name out there. RJV
  4. Send it to Holyman best thing you can do for that issue. RJV
  5. tough spot to be in. You have only know her for 4 months. So you don't really know her, you both are in that early stage of a relationship. If it were me, I'd just back the relationship way off. Talk to her about it though, tell her why you are backing off. Slow things down. Still date and hang out etc. but don't be dropping big coin on her and I would freeze the physical relationship for a while to. See how she handles that. If she truly "loves you" she will work extra hard to earn your trust back and rebuild the relationship. This is also maybe a good time to address partying and her alcohol issue which it sounds like she might have. By cooling things off but staying around it will expose her true colors. If she is a, well lets just say....not a nice girl, she won't stick around because she is going to want to go party, get hammered and get laid. RJV
  6. don't screw around or someone will buy right out from under you....MOVE ON IT!!! RJV
  7. I would not be afraid of the Chevy 1500 series trucks for what you are looking to do. Stay away from the 6.0L and try to find a 5 speed. You won't get 17-20 like you probabally will get with a Toy but you will get 14-17 maybe a little better if you keep your foot out of it, definately a little less if you bury the pedal every time you pull of the line. In addition, the 5 speed usually knocks anywhere from 1000 to 1500 off the price of the truck. Plus if you get an extended cab and a standard or long box you will have more room by far than a toyota. 8. What is "Knowledge"? Receiving knowledge of the truth is not accepting the truth. This passage is talking directly to those who are told of God's plan of Salvation through Christ. Being told of the plan of Salvation, they have received the "knowledge". If you recieve the knowledge of God's plan and then choose to go on sinning, there is no forgiveness of sins. Knowledge is not enough. You must take action and accept Christ as your saviour. Once you accept Christ as your saviour all the other things come into play. As to the passage in Ephesians, I am not arguing with you on that point. We as Christians should do these things. That we should strive to put on the "Armor of God". What I disagree with is that it is necessary for Salvation. It is necessary for growth and maturity in your Chrisitian walk. And without it, as I mentioned before you will be neutarlized by the Devil and made useless in the furtherance of the Kingdom of God. In regard to your last statement, I believe that a person on their death bed, looking into the pit of hell, can be saved regardless of the sins of their entire life if they call on the name of Jesus Christ with sincerity before they die. The key word is sincerity, not just out of desperation and fear of the unknown but if God gets a hold of them at that point in their lives. It is a shame for those who get saved at that point because they have wasted away most of their lives when they maybe could have been incredible witnesses for Christ, but that does not take away the power of Jesus to save them in the end. 9. And again, thanks for adding to the thread. You have encouraged me as we have gone along this thing as well. So take a look at the Banshee, think about the dunes and thank God we are here!!! Ride on Man! RJV

  11. Matthew 7:21-23 is directly linked to Matthew 7:15-20 Beware of the False prophets who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits, Grapes are not gathered fro the thorn bushes nor figs from thistles are they? Even so every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then you will know them by their fruits. 7-21-23 follows up refering back to those false prophets who say "Lord Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name cast out demona and in your name perform many miracles?" Matthew 15:7-9 refer back to Matthew 15:1-2 while the Pharisees and Scribes were challenging Jesus. The following versus including 7-9 plus 10-20 explain this. In vs 12 the disciples tell Jesus he offended the Pharisees to which Jesus replies in vs 14 Let them alone, they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit. Matthew 24:13 is directly related to Matthew 24:1-26. This part of the chapter is talking about those Christians who come to know Jesus during the Tribulation Matthew 9-13 Then they will deliver you to tribulation adn will kill you and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name And at that time many will fall away and will deliver up one another and hate one another and many false prohets will arise and will mislead many and because lawlessnes is increased most peoples love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved. That end is simple death. Those that do not renounce God or Christ during this time, that are truly believers in deed, not just by the words of their mouth, when they die they shall be saved. RJV
  12. Thanks for making me laugh It has gotten heavy in here. All I wanted to do was encourage those who have even similar beliefs as I do on easter and here we are two weeks later. I think it is cool that people have looked at the thread and it grew beyond what I ever thought it would. Personally, I think God has moved in a lot of ways through this thread but that is just me. If no one else likes it, it still made me do some soul searching and remember where I stand and why I stand there. Later Loco- RJV
  13. Wow, things are really progressing and or degressing. Holy, you have quoted scripture to make your points. I in turn have used your own scriptures, adding in the versus above and below the passages you have used to make my points, often refuting what you initially said and sometimes just adding to it. Banshee04LE, thank you for coming along side me in this issue. The Bible says we are to speak to a brother one on one if there is a problem...if that does not work to come with two and present the issue to the brother who is stumbling. Inadvertantly we have done that. Cool. Holy, what you have refused to say is whether or not you have accepted Jesus Christ as your saviour with all of your heart. You have not said you believe in the saving power of Christ 100%. In fact, you continuously point out that you can not be saved unless you do certain things. This cheapens the sacrifice Christ made for us all. If Christ did not die and did not rise again and we are still dependant upon ourselves for salvation, then we are all lost. You have also refused to enlighten us to your religious affiliation or talk about your past. You have proven you know your way around the bible and that you are educated far beyond me. My knowledge of the Bible comes from a pastor that teaches from the Bible every Sunday. Any of the passages I quoted God/The Holy Spirit lead me to. They were not posted because of my great knowledge of where everything is in the Bible. I wake up every morning thanking God for another day, for my job, my wife, my family, my toys and my friends. I thank God for the complete forgivness he has provided, that his death has justified me and that no matter how I fail, when I die, my sins are paid for in full, I have been justified in Christ. You have indicated several times that what I say is that there is no penalty for sin if you are saved. If I have lead any other person on this thread to believe that then I apologize and let me clarify. A Christian who choses to live in sin is the MOST MISERABLE PERSON IN THE WORLD!!!! God disciplines his own. The Christian who turns his back on God will suffer. They will suffer depression, doubt, frustration, anger, broken relationships. They will not have peace or contentment in anyway shape or form. A person who thinks once they are saved they can "do it better without God" ends up like this . And they think the harder they push the better things will get while in reality they will get worse. What I am saying however, is that when that person finally dies and stands before God and has to account for their life, they will have a lot to account for. But the beauty is that no matter how hard they fell in life, if they listened to the Call of Jesus and cried out to him cofessing their sins and acknowledged that they were lost, Jesus is going to step in as their advocate, their Saviour and say, This one is mine......praise God for that. Salvation is simple, too simple for the Pharisees and the Sadducees to accept. To simple for most adult men to accept. It seem childish some, foolish to others. But the fact remains is that Christ died for every one of us. All we have to do is acknowledge we are all sinners, lost, property of the devil. Realize that God put a plan in motion to save us all as soon as Adam and Eve fell in the Garden. Accept the plan was fullfilled when Christ was born, lived, died and rose again for our sins, bridging the gap between man and God. And finally cry out to him saying I need you Jesus, I can not do this alone. Forgive me of my sins and then accept what he has done for you. This does not mean that overnight all of you problems are going to go away, that your bad habits and addictions will just up and leave. Though for some it is that dramatic. It does not mean you will get promoted or win the lottery. It doe not mean you marriage will be perfect or your kids will stop rebelling or you school work will get easier. It does mean though that you will never ever have to go through hard times alone again. Doubt, fear, stress, anger, frustration....none of these are from God. They are directly from Santan. He wants to keep you there. He does not want you to be confident in your salvation because if you are....you are going to share it. YOu are going to be excited about it....you are going to want to tell people about it. Holy if you have not taken that step of asking Jesus into your heart, starting a personal and real relationship with him directly, I pray that someday you will. If you have then good for you and if living this way brings you peace and contentment then good. I know where I stand and I trust the Holy Spirit has guided me through the Word of God and given me discernment and understanding. RJV
  14. Holy, he is writing "these things" which are found in 1John1:5-10. 5)And this is the message we have heard from HIm and announce to you that God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. 6)If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet wlk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice truth,7) but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. This is stating if you as a Christian (because that is who he is addressing...Christians) are not saying "I am good with God" yet you are falling on your face in sin all the time....then you are not good with God and you are not in fellowship with him. Verse 7 states the other side, If we as a Christian are walking in the light the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. 8)If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9)If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to frogive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10)If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and his word is not in us. He is reminding the congregation of who they are and what they are. This was a time of gnostic teachings that were challenging the Diety of Jesus. John was pointing out that these false teachers were saying one thing yet living something completely different. They claimed to be "Christian" but denied Christ. Also Read Romans Chapter 7:14-25 Also Read Romans Chapter 8:2-14 Also Read Romans Chapter 10:9 Also Read Hebrews Chapter 10:1-18. Psalm 103: 8-14 verse 12 in particular "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us" Holy I admire your compassion and comittment to your beliefs. I ask you this point blank, Do you trust Jesus Christ as your personal saviour? Or do you trust Jesus Christ for part of your salvation and yourself for the other half? What I mean is do you think you have to perform at a certain level for Jesus to really be able to save you? In a previous post you stated you believe in Jesus with everything in you, but you did not say he is your personal Saviour and that you trust him completely for your salvation. Also, as to a "religion" I would have to affiliate myself with Babtist, though I simply consider myself a Christian and attend a non-denominational church now. What "religious" affilliation do you have? RJV RJV
  15. Send it to Holyman, especially if your screw is already stripped out. Tough it out this weekend and then send it off to Holy, his work is great. I have only had mine back for two rides but it is rattle free and solid. RJV
  16. I was hoping Bubba would not win a single race this season.....oh well. I think RC has the championship locked up though (meaning no one will catch him before the end of the season). I think it is cool to have him win a Championship for Suzuki, it will separate him from McGrath cuz Jeremy could not get it done on the Suzuki. Also, I am curious to see how the outdoor season goes. RC is tough outside. Chad is tough though and could pick up a couple more wins easy if people keep falling in the main events.... RJV

  18. What you are inside before Salvation is a sinner. What you are after Salvation is a sinner Saved by Grace through Jesus. Being saved does not make us any better than the next person. As to the president, 1Peter 2:13-17 Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether to a king as teh one in authority, or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right. For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignoracne of foolish men. Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God. Honor all men; love the brother hood, fear God honor the king. I believe it is our responsibility to vote, to take part in decisions that affect our nation. I also believe kings are appointed by God. Allowed to remain in Office and used to complete his will. To work I go.... RJV
  19. What is "dead". If you are saved, yet you turn your back on God and do not nurture your relationship with him by hanging out with other Christians, reading the Bible, attending Church your relationship will be dead and you will not show any signs that you are different than anyone else. All that will be different between you and a unsaved person will be the pit in your stomache and the constant tugging of the Holy Spirit on your soul to return to God, neither of which can be seen by other people. That is the point to that passage. You are still saved, Jesus still paid the price and you accepted that but your relationship is dead and you will show no growth and the fire you had early on will fade till nobody knows who you are.....a child of God Hebrews, 26. If we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins. What is knowledge? The knowledge of Christ and his sacrifice and the salvation He alone provides. Once a person has this knowledge that Christ died for them and they chose to ignore it going on in sin, there is no forgiveness. I also think this applies to those who think like I mentioned before, "I'll just say this prayer in case there is a god, that way after I live my life the way I want to and die, I will still get into heaven". RJ
  20. John 10:7 Truly tryly I say to you I am the door of the sheep. John 10:9 I am the door if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out of fine pastures. John 10:10 The thief (Santan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they might have life and might have it abundantly. John 10:14 I am the good shepherd and I know My own and My own know Me. John 10::25 I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. John 10:28-30 I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. My Father who has given tehm to Me is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one. Yes, I believe if you truly accept Christ with all of your heart and soul, you are heaven bound, even if you fall flat on your face in your life. Once you are a child of God, nothing you do, nothing anyone else does can take that away from you. If you chose to turn your back on God, the Holy Spirit will deal with you and you will never find peace until you come back around. John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. If a person comes to a point of religion, thinking to themselves, "so I say this prayer and accept this Jesus and then I got a free ticket to do whatever I want with no consequences" then they are not seeking forgiveness or to make Jesus the Lord of their life. Corinthians 6:14-15 For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be! Holy.... "So am I a Christian??? I try as hard as I can to immitate Jesus every day. Do I fail? Each and every day. Do I have faith in Jesus? With every fiber of my being"! If this means you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you believe he died for you and rose again for you then...then no matter what mistakes you make in life, you are saved regardless of the work you do. But you will work because the Holy Spirit fills you and moves you to do so. It moves you to take part in threads like this and encourage people to exam their own beliefs. RJV
  21. Now refering to a comment made ealier stating that holyman only focuses on the death of jesus instead of his birth. 348166[/snapback] My point when I said that is the Death of Jesus is extremely important, but the fact that He rose from the dead is just as if not more important. Without Him rising from the dead the rest of our Faith is pointless. I am not claiming the Bible says anywhere to celebrate and party on the day He was born, the day he died, or the day he rose from the grave. RJV
  22. Holy, that sounds like you are saying Christ dieing on the cross for our sins and and his ressurrection is not sufficiant for those who call on his name for salvation. It sounds like you are saying it is good and all to believe in Jesus but we as Christians need to do something above and beyond to make it into heaven. We as humans can not do anything to get into heaven. We can not work hard enough. Even as Christians, we are going to fail, we are going to sin and the wages of sin is death. The only way to pay that debt is to accept what Christ did for us on the cross and that he rose again. That is it. So I am saying that once a person admits they are a sinner (just like the rest of us) asks Jesus to forgive them, and accepts him as the Lord of their life, then they are on Home Plate and can not be tagged out. No one can take salvation away from you. Beyond salvation, what a person does with their life is important and we will all be accountable for what we do with the knowledge of Christ and salvation, but that is not what gets a person into heaven. Ephesians 2:8-10 (personalized by putting the word "I" in where it says "you" and "we") For by grace I have been saved, through faith, not of myself, it is the gift of God, not as a result of any work I have done so that I can not say I earned my way into heaven, for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand, that I should walk in them. I know you quoted scripture, but I need to crash for work tonight so I will look at it some more later. This started as an Easter post that went to a Holiday post that has turned into somewhat of difference in opinion on "relgiion". It is good to discuss the what the Bible says about issues. For those of you who have been following the thread and are curious about Jesus and Salvation, don't get frustrated with the debate and lose sight of the real issue. That issue is what Jesus Christ did for each and every person on this planet. He was born, lived a perfect life, died on the cross paying for our sins, rose from the grave defeating death and the devil, and calls out to you personally. Faith and acceptance of his forgiveness is all it takes. What you do with your life after accepting him is another issue that is between you and God. PEACE- RJV
  23. My two brothers and I grew up on five wooded acres. More is always better but we were able to set up a really nice woods/mx track on that property. Like others have said, you can't go wrong buying land, just make sure you don't have a bunch of snotty neighbors that will complain about the bikes. RJV
