RIDE REPORT----- well Im still brakin her in, but half throttle is pretty damn peppy to say the least. Ill be back with the full ride report soon. Throttle response is great, along with a nice powerband hit.

yea, just got mine done, used new stock reeds afterwords, The porting looks similar to what you have. They seem to work nice with the cylinder porting.

I have a slightly bent durablue axle. Durablue can srraighten it. Heres a pic of it. I rode 6th gear pinned on pavement with it, so its not that bad. Should be straightened though. Let me know if you want to trade.

gotta have the nasty sparkies, or the goofy hush kit. Or, what i did for this season is pop rivet some steel screen in the end of my silencers. I think itll work great.

OK, I measured the inner diameter of the side going into the intake. After converting to metric, i got around 29mm. What sizes are the PWK's offered?? Also, how can I get a more accurate reading??

Well, never thought id get a reply on these. Sold em for 150 with pistons...... BTW, they ran like a rape date, ran em for like 2 seasons without problems. Got sick of worrying about them though!!!! -

Id suggest a Kand N for easy cleaning and re-oiling. I do the tranny oil like every 3-4 times I go riding depending on the type of riding that was done. After a dune trip, id change it every time. -
I think the banshee is very reliable. Ive heard of ported motors lasting 5 years without new rings!!! It all depends on your maintenance. Make sure to use good mixing oil, and to stay up on changing your tranny oil. Also, make sure that youre not running lean. Other than than, ride it like you stole it

I got a great deal on a stage IV head, and I love it so far. The only problems is that not many people have domes, so it is hard to find a used set when you want to change em. And forget about buying domes new from trinity, haa like 80 bucks plus shipping!!! SO overall, ita a good head but not the easiest to get replacement parts for.

Howbout a simple propane torch?? Heat those bitches up and crank on em hard, they will break loose. When they break loose, be prepared to SLAM on your axle to get it out, if your bearings are blown out that is.....

The first thing I would do is tighten the head to the proper torque spec. It has a tendency to back off, and if it does, coolant flows into the cylinders, thus boiling over qlmost instantly. happened to me last year... My .02
