OK, so my buddy has been talkin a lot o shit about his 250 R and how it screams with his 4mil stroker and higher compresion. he also got some minor port work done. I let him ramble on about how im going to eat shit and die in a drag race, bla bla bla. SO we set up a time for the next day to line em up. keep in mind i havent started the shee in a couple months, and dont even know If im jetted in for this colder weather. SO, my buddy shows up, with a friend sportin a HRC kitted 450- nice ass lookin bike. I fire my banshee up, its fuckin diealed in!!. Didnt touch the jets, but the plugs looked good so i said lets run em! We all line up on the dirt road, and Im gone, leaving them both at the starting line!! So im pretty happy. I give the guys a little head start, by 4th gear im rollin past, 5th and 6th--gone again!! SO all in all, im damn happy with my 20 year old bike(drag ported and a 15/41 gear with fmf gold series and 20cc domes) to beat a brand new $8000 machine, and a 250R that was all hyped up. SO HONDA, what do you have to say???

Im running a tusk kit, like 35 bucks with HD springs. Its holding up just fine. Mods are in my sig.

go get yourself some lawnmower tires and have them wrapped. I have some like that and they seem to work fine. Ill show you some pics of what i mean later.

you should at least sand blast them. Then I might trade ya my fmf gold series that are in great chrome shape.

Yep splice em. It works fine, just did mine a couple weeks ago. I cut the old style plug from my bad 87 cdi, spliced it onto the new style cdi to plug into my 87 harness. That way you dont have to fuck with your harness! :wink:

BE CAREFUL with the jaw type puller. I had to remove mine with one and it blew a hole in the drywall in my garage. Simply put, it pops off like a bitch!, like bigred said, pad it up or you will ruin your flywheel. I ruined mine !!

OK, heres the deal. I have a 97 banshee that im thinking about parting out. Before I part it out I want to see if anyone wants to buy it first. I would like 2500 for it, FIRM Heres what it looks like: ( its the black and red bike) First off, everything is perfectly functional AND comes with title!! This bike is very dependable, being stock besides the pipes. Always starts and runs great. I need the following :: Keihin Jets Pair of: 155, 158, 160, 162, i forget the series that they come in but i need 150 - 160's Flywheel pulller ( probly get it from FAST) im still trying to build the list, but if anyone has banshee related tools or any keihin jets PLEASE let me know!! yea I was skeptical withthe price and all, but I shipped em out and am now really happy with it. He guarantees his work too!! If anyone is interested his name is Bob at RB Racing up here in MI. Hes a really good guy that will work with you (jetting, etc, etc...) through the whole process. His name on here is MACHWON. shoot him a PM, you wont be dissapointed!! Yea, Like u stated earlier red, its just easier for pictures. He did make the intakes HUGE and personally I think it just makes me suck more gas. But it does run fucking awesome, especially for the price. The transfers were modified along with the exhaust. I dont know the exact science of angles and such on these, but it runs good, thats what I care about!!

Heres my aggressive dune/trail port by RB Racing. I think it cost me 150 out the door, and the turn around was about a week. It runs awesome with 93 octane and 20cc domes. In my opinion, YOU CANT BEAT THAT!

I made sparkies out of some steel window screen. SHit works great, had no probs gettin into silver lake. Although they do blow out after some time. Anyway, close to free fix!!
