  1. haha yea, I was just suprised man, his bike sounded good!!
  2. SO Finally made it out to the ice drags this weekend. First of all it was -6 F with wind chill. Cold as fuck! I run into this banshee, Full drag port, CPI inframes, on alky, 36mm keihins (straight up woth no filters) +4 swinger, solid rear strut, +4 timing, and some other stuff. I had my bike pretty damn dialed in considering the weather (ran 165 mains on my 28mm PWKs) I get a bad start (hard to keep it down with studs and stock swinger), he got a 5 bike lead and i passed him by 2 at the end! We ran 4 or 5 more times, I beat him every time by at least a few bikes. His bike seemed to run good too, and he had brand new studded tires. Shit, half my studs are ripped out! I just didnt expect to win, I mean I got FMF gold series, and healthy dune port, and the 28mm PWKs on pump gas with K&N and box. And 20cc domes. I think the guy was pretty pissed, he just kinda left after we were done!!! hahahaha Gotta love it, man I was guna get some CPIs to compliment this port job but maybe not!!
  3. Yea, Catia is sweet I use it all the time. I made a Rapid Prototype model of a stator cover this semester using Catia and Cimetron. Again, made my own measurements for shits and giggles.
  4. SWEET!! Thanks Lee!
  5. Sorry, off topic but where did u get those J-Arms?? Also, I dont even know what to offer for the carrier? 50?
  6. Haha you called it.. I had a .100 over motor that ran awesome for 2 seasons. Still never blew it up, changed cylinders to get some porting and some more reliability!! It is thin, and did run warm sometimes but never had any problems with it. Id say depending on your budget, you can use your cyls to .100 over, just make sure you have a dependable builder.
  7. I said it was a joke because my worn out .100 over cylinders walked all over it. I wasnt too impressed. That being said, I believe a strong port on stock cyls is a WAY better path. Its far cheaper, and easier to deal with IMO. Thats sweet that youre super happy with the 404, im sure I would be too if I had one dialed in and tearin ass. Maybe the ones Ive ran into are not built correctly, or the rider is a a sorry SOB.
  8. Well I guess ill be spectating, no front fenders, or numbers, or tether!! Well at least I can still drag race saturday I guess
  9. So I have to have a tether and number plates to race? looks like time is runnin out, i thought this race was leter in FEB!
  10. NO SHIT!! I thought those werent till later in FEB. Can anyone register?? what do u need to compete??
  11. Well, I hear the ice is good to go!! I will be out there this weekend (2/3) to check it out. Hope to see some of you out there, I guess the drag strip is all cleaned up, as well as a circle track by the white lake inn..
  12. THE WOODEN ONE RIGHT! HAHAHAHA I carry a 24" craftsman toolbox with jets, plugs, sockets, ratchet wrenched, tape, electial kit, flywheel puller, extra nuts/bolts,mityvac,BLA,BLA,BLA... Cuz everytime I go on a big trip, at least somethin small has to happen!!
  13. Yea Ill just stop being lazy and take the carbs and shit off, no way around this one...
  14. Well I notcied one of my intake bolts backed out, but its lodged somehow. I have ball ended T-handles, but cant quite get the grip i need. I know u all have this problem when putting the top end back together, leaving your carbs and airbox together. Give me some enginuity!!
  15. Cool, seems to be a similar setup. Im guna throw it on in a couple weeks, hopefully itll spice her up a bit!
  16. Hey Daj, I might of came on a lil strong about that, I was just laughing at this kid and his wooden bong. Kinda brought me back a few years! I think people who ride drunk are fucking idots, but a little stoned MIGHT be OK if in the right situation (like in your yard, or property). Im not talking about slammin gears at 80 either. maybe putsin around doing some tuning, you know what i mean..... Cmon man, dont loose respect just because of a comment, believe me I am a safe rider and do not support drinking and riding whatsoever. Yes I know I am subject to the same laws, thats why I keep that shit off the trails!
  17. Whats up guys, just picked up a RS adjustable plate. Im running pump gas, 28mm PWK's, aggressive dune/open trail port, 20cc domes,FMF gnarlys. Just want to know what kind of lil bump in power ill get. I also want to keep running 93 oct, I guess I should of asked this after I did a comp. test, but im away at school and would just like to get some opinions. Ill be running in the winter, im at just under 1000 feet with 155 mains (prolly going to 158 or 160 as it gets frigid cold) Any opinions appreciated!!!!
  18. yea, id say 21 or 20 to keep things simple, plus you can run pump gas. Plus, you will have less compression which will give you a little more reliability. My .02....
  19. SOLD SOLD SOLD!!! TO MINKIA38 .... Thanks man, nice meetin ya! Ohhh,, For those who wanted parts I still have the PRM front bumper PM me if you want it, I also have a toomey hush kit mooded for fmf silencers sittin around..
  20. haha, i think this is hillarious. Who care if the guy likes to catch a little buzz when riding (in certain areas only!! like in the U.P. or personal land), im no different!! We used to hide shit inside the front bumper, those rubber stops come off for a GREAT stash spot!!!
  21. right on, just never ran techniplate and was worried about separation. No worries ne more, cant wait to run that sweet smellin shit! have any of you heard of 7th gear lubricants??
  22. WHEEW, i just switched from a semisynthetic oil 7th gear was the brand. (most probly never heard of it, but i worked for the company that produced it. good stuff and inexpensive! I ran out of the 7th gear, so I bought a case of techniplate. I should be OK for winter right DAJ??
  23. ID Blast em, might as well do it right so u have no question on the quality of the final product!
