I installed an adjustable timing plate this weekend, set at +4 degreees. That was added the mods in my sig., and I couldnt beliieve the difference!! I ran 50/50 110 and 93 octane with klots techniplate to be safe, since I didnt know my compression. I noticed better throttle response, quicker revving, longer powerband, with more up top. Nothing tragic in the increase, but seat of the pants for sure. I am very impressed with this mod, and for 35 bucks, I think probly the best mod for the money!! :thumbsup: One question for me: What exactly does the advanced timing do to affect octane requirements? And, if any, how many more rpms can it turn compared to no advance? Id like to know the science behind this, and how far I can go!

Thanks for the comments bud :beer: , I love the 28mm Keihins, I have an aggresive dune port, with 20cc domes (mods in sig). Id say the major benefit of the 28's is the ease of tuning, and better throttle response, especially with the porting!!

TRUE That, I stay away from that shit too, I mean whats the point. Spend the extra 5 or whatever on some knarlys or if u can spend more, go with some razrs or whatever. No sense in cutting perfectly new tires, even if the benefit is good there is a tire out there that will not have to be modifed to suit your needs..

Well, if you cut the turf tamers correctly so you can get some bite out of them, all I hear is great things about them-still. They are garbage unless you cut them, like Lifted already said. They just float on the dirt and spin. Id say look for pictures of how people cut them :thumbsup:

Well im researching tires that i want for this season. Im going with Kenda Knarlys in the rear, and I want some opinions on the best, most affordable front tire. The Front MAX by kenda looks to be a good tire for turning and trails, what do u all think??

The builder who I source for some stuff, james at the banshee connection (number in sig), SWAERS by porting the stock cages and using new stock reeds. He owns a race team and this is what he does to all of his bikes. He does the porting with new reeds for 35 bucks. Good fuckin deal IMO, and Im reallly happy with what he did with mine!! :thumbsup:

I would just like to say Ive had nothing but GREAT experiences with Braxton. Yea he did send me a a wrong bolt once, but let me keep the wrong as he sent the right for FREE. He also just sent me a swinger bolt FOR FREE, and I payed him shipping. I think hes a good guy. Maybe he made a few mistakes, but I wouldnt call him so much of a shyster. Hell yea Braxton, ill keep doing business with ya!! Now make these peeps change their mind!

I rode a bansh with DG pipes before. Hell of a lot better than stock, id see you pulling 150 for em on ebay. Shit I saw a stock frame go for 700 once, so you never know! :thumbsup:

Yea, ice riding is the shit. SOOO much freedom to do whatever. You really need snowmobile studs to take full advantage of traction though. Looks like a nice lake u have to ride on! :beer:

If I ever buy a 4-stroke itll prolly be a honda based on their awesome reputation as a great company with great products. Im obviusly a banshee man, but u cant hate on any good machine!! Ohh yea, plus they win races I have to say I wasnt too impressed with the HRC kit, as I easily walked the 450r I last raced with one. But like previously said, thats not what they are for. Banshees are for straight lines (especially us old J-Arms with stock suspension :yelrotflmao: ), 450s are racers on all parts of the spectrum! Sorry, got a little flustered but man hold off on the negative shit
