  1. You have to use your stock lever's adjustment screw, it is longer than the one with the ez pull perch. That will fix your problem. DON'T buy the Magura. They suck; and are expensive.
  2. I don't know of a downside to the boost ports. And yeah, you may have to weld on the outside of the cylinders if the boost ports go through to the outside.
  3. Click Here
  4. It happens on most all of them. The lever has a tiny rubber piece that is supposed to protect the cover, but usually doesn't.
  5. :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:
  6. ....he doesn't mention pistons, transmission, etc. All it says it cylinders, cases, stator, crank, and heads. Maybe I'm missing something. Seems kinda pricey.
  7. I think we all know th truth about PS. I was venting when I posted this thread, and it's probably best to not go to the site to check it out; why give them the advertisement....
  8. I run Klotz Flexdrive...but ATF is supposed to be good, as mentioned, but never ran it myself.
  9. Ya'll go to the NC forum on planet sand and help me out here....
  10. Anyway, U just got beat @ the tree and he WASNT running nitromethane point blank. The boy got out alky my jug, and i didnt get protested about running nitro. so whats da deal. Heck of a way to enforce rules..I went to the tower to protest, they said it would be checked, and no one checked the fuel. Whether or not he was running nitro at this point is irrelevant. It DIDN'T get checked. 100 bucks to race and no enforcement of rules. Can we put this were everyone on this forum will see this? This is not an attack on Petey or you NC boys, but on the "Fastest on the Planet" race that would not even check fuel upon a protest. Edit: I'm spreading this around everywhere. This is BS. (Nothing against you Pumpkin, or NC..) Edited by J-Madd (3 seconds ago)
  11. That's some funny shit right there! :yelrotflmao: I especially like that the tires have good threat.
  12. M10 x 1.25 ? ??
  13. No need to change the floats from stock height for any mods.
  14. I disagree. Any weight lost off of the frame is better for drag racing. We spend hours grinding of tabs and up tubes to lose less than 15lbs. If you can lose 1 lb (or whatever) with the J-arm frame, go with it.
  15. My 60 ft times suck. 1.4 - 1.6, I think. Been a few weeks since at the track. 4.15s all day long 300ft.
  16. Yep, the 700's are wheelie machines, that's for sure. You'll love the CPIs compared to stock.
  17. That's why I said "almost." I'm not necessarily calling BS on ya. I'm sure if the guy on the Z400 said he was smoking a 700R, he would get doubted, but I most definately got my a$$ handed to me several times. Every race and situation can be different.
  18. Why not put it on e-bay? I'll buy it for that on e-bay, but not here.
  19. I almost call BS on that, but someone else will for sure.
  20. By stock, do you mean stock pipes and filter? You must be a hell of a rider to beat a piped YFZ on a Banshee with stock pipes; or a bone stock 700R. (though my 700R runs like a turd...I think I needed to adjust my PCIII map..I got beat by a Z400 on it, and I'm a good rider[--have yet to run it with the Barker Duals])
  21. B8 or BR8 anything would work fine, but as mentioned, I'd just run 8es.
  22. Most of the things mentioned can be done anyway without the cases split; however, I agree on all of them..you might as well do it since you have to put everything back together anyway. The things that can only be done while the cases are split are porting the cases, trueing/welding the crank, and a dunable override....I'd definitely get the override while your in there. They'll hold up to any type of riding, allegedly.
