  1. I do not do re-valves any longer, contact TCS for that, I do re-spring the rear shock however if you need that service.
  2. You can always contact TCS directly (909) 245-7484 talk to "Todd" - he's the owner.
  3. With you list of mod's I would reccomend 8 paddles, 10 paddles are a lot of tire in MY OPINION. Gearing will factor in the equation as will type of riding while in the sand (drag racing/general duning). I have a 370 with an agressive dune port and I like 8 paddles - 20x11x10 with 14/41 gearing to be exact. If you have a chance borrow some 10 paddles and 8 paddles before you buy, ride them both and see what you think.
  4. Get in touch with Holyman here on the HQ, he should be able to set you up, and gives discounts to members. If not try "Pivot works" they sell complete kits.
  5. Good grief Matt! I think it's time for a vacation. Or a desk job. Glad to haer that you are ok. I suggest pouring some of that Guiness on the wound to fight infection, and I want to see a picture of the wound in about a week, gonna' be hard to cut the hair around that thing, hell it might end up looking like you had a sex change operation - and they put the new "part" on your mellon!
  6. Got you covered brother, good luck.
  7. If you get the 102" widebody model it's no problem, even if it's a long travel car (correct ofset wheels are critical) typically it's not an issue.
  8. I would strongly sugest that you do not cut the springs. The spring rate will increase, you will overstress the springs. You actually will not lose travel, but you will lose pre-load on the springs ( in a droop condition they will become lose on the mounts)
  9. Are you looking for thread pitch / dia? or the socket size required to remove the nut?
  10. In the dirt I run 22x7x10 Razr2's up front, you'll probably like them, but I don't do a whole lot of realy tight technical stuff, mostly open desert terrain. (when I'm not in the sand!)
  11. Any one up for a spam and fried hot dog sandwich?
  12. Do you have the "old style" mesh? I have the "new style" billet inserts and they screw in from the back, a dab of loctite and you are good to go.
  13. You can also get them mounted on ITP wheels. I used to run Douglas .125 wheels in the sand, but I ride pretty hard and have ruined numerous .125 wheels. I have the sand stars mounted on ITP T-9 Baja wheels currently, and have not had any issues. For me the extra weight (even though it is minimal) is worth the peace of mind.
  14. Very true, plus you have the satisfaciton of doing it yourself, make an offer to HQ members to ream their spindles with a one day turn-around for a small charge, just an idea to help some one out and pay for your new tool.
  15. Much better "feel" to the brakes now, I have Galfer lines. A worthy investment. If you plan on going to aftermarket A arms or changing the length of your swing arm, you may want to factor this into your decision (longer lines for future mods). http://www.galferusa.com
  16. Jeffro, send me a PM with your shipping address & info, so I can figure shipping. Yes you will need a spring compressor. theeechozen1, no problem, just let me know when you're ready.
  17. Jeffro, to gat you back close to a stock rate equivalant you need to go with a 450 lb/in spring on the rear.
  18. Tell me how much you weigh, what type of riding you do, and tell me if your swing arm uses all the OEM linkage, tell me if your rear shock has been re-valved etc.. based on that I'll reccomend a spring rate (we can discuss your options here) you paypal me $50, I send you a spring.
  19. I think that ricky stator has a "heavy duty" replacement set.
  20. Try another machine shop, go buy your own reamer, or call Jansen see if they will return your ball joints, if so return them, and purchase some new ones if the threads on their arms are a common size (16x2.0 if memory serves) from ricky stator.
  21. I want to see pictures / video of all the failed attempts prior to the sucessful one. Now that would be entertainment!
  22. Hard anodizing comes to mind, depending on the abuse this may hold up better than powder coating.
  23. I work for Eibach Springs, and help HQ members by offering advice (for free) and springs at my employee cost. We have coil-over type springs to fit most aftermarket shocks, and direct replacement rear springs for the OEM rear shock on most ATV's. The rears are important if you have made a swing arm length change. Rear springs are $50 plus shipping.
  24. Well let us know when you plan on the 420 kit -- so we can talk yout out of it (if you are getting it from trinity)
  25. I say do it (the bead lock rings may end up looking crappy after some good hard riding) but that is up to you. Check with your local coater on the metal flake / sparkle stuff. The coater I use even has "tinted" clear options for changing the final color.
