  1. If you mean it rotates, then yes - the upper and lower mounts are on spherical bearings.
  2. "Hardkor" makes some nice shit, those are some good hubs.
  3. Sorry guys, I only have one carb - super easy on my bike...
  4. Ball-peen hammer (dead blow if you have it) works great. Loosen the balljoint nuts, smack the side of the spindle where the balljoint in secured - should "pop" right out.
  5. That is one crazy story for sure. I can only imagine what I would have done in that same position. Glad to hear your wife was not seriously hurt (that is the truly important part of the story). Pretty cool she still likes to ride there, my wife would have made me sell everything and take up basket weaving...
  6. Piece of cake, just pay attention to how the "old" one comes off, and install the "new" one in the reverse order, adjust the clutch (if necessary) and you're done.
  7. AMEN BROTHER!!! ATTN: Ramboo
  8. You have been missing out!
  9. As luck would have it, those a-arms are avalible through me. I designed them, and my friend Kevin at "Custom Creations ATV" builds them. If anyone would like more information on the a-arms or the powderchrome finish, please send me an e-mail or a PM.
  10. The re-valve on the rear shock is a great idea but you will also need a new rear spring - one with increased rate to compensate for the length of the swingarm.
  11. Anyone going this weekend to watch / participate in the "night races" behind the store at the drag-strip Saturday night 6/26?
  12. Here's the one I recieved, more Glamis related... June 22, 2004 Dear Friends and OHV Enthusiasts, Thank you for contacting me by e-mail to express your outrage over how your recreation fees are being used at the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area (ISDRA). I appreciate you sharing your thoughts with me, and I absolutely agree with you. I do not believe one dollar, let alone $825,000 of your recreation fees, should be used for a monitoring program. This money should come from the operating budget of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). It is my understanding that Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA) is working to secure increased funding for the operation of the ISDRA. Using your fees on something far removed from recreation clearly violates the purpose for which the fees were established --- to enhance your recreational experience. In fact, Roy Denner of the Off-Road Business Association recently testified before the House Committee on Resources, of which I am Chairman, on proposed legislation to permanently authorize the Recreation Fee Program. Mr. Denner described the inappropriate use of fees at the ISDRA and requested that the Committee ensure that the situation is not repeated at ISDRA or at any other Federal recreation site. I can assure you that should legislation move forward to permanently authorize the Recreation Fee Program for the BLM, I will make certain your fees are used only to enhance your recreational experience with on-the-ground improvements. Again, thank you for taking the time to contact me. Sincerely, Richard Pombo Chairman House Committee on Resources
  13. SUSPENSION IMPROVEMENTS!!!
  14. Send it to me and I'll powderchrome it.
  15. Sorry to hear that Reas, hope you have a speedy full recovery. What is all this Glamis talk? Whaen is the trip? I can be there in 2.5 Hrs...
  16. That frame is very similar to the one on the Trinity bike in the images section, Dean Sundahl built them both. He has raced Banshee's for years in the SCORE off road series with good results. I wouldn't mind having one of those frames for the "ultimate" dune Banshee.

  18. Try "Pivot Works" they may have something.
  19. I don't have them either (I don't have the i530) but you should be able to get them from http://www.nextel.com
  20. Hinson (the clutch basket company) just released their own line of clutches, I have no idea if they are any better than the ones mentioned already though. Might be worth a look...
  21. Did you get the book or CD with the phone? They both cover what you are looking for.
  22. Thought I'd make you guys aware of a company that is NOT afraid to stand behind its products 100%. Last year I got a "Banshee Pack" from UPP Racing (polyuerethane chain slider / upper and lower chain rollers / rear chain guide) all of which were a snap to install and worked great. Well last week I went to install my new swing arm and noticed what I thought to be some accelerated wear on the slider, so I contacted UPP spoke with "Bill" explained what had happened and he said " No problem I'll send you out a new pack just please send me back the old slider" mind you I only needed the slider, and he is sending the complete package - no questions asked! Thought that was cool, thought you guys would like to know. http://www.uppracing.com
