TX is on the right track here, what he did not mention is that in addition to the internall valving of the shocks, the spring rate of the spring(s) must also be increased, this is where options like dual / triple rates and zero pre-load stuff comes into play. Bottom line is that stock shocks will fit with standard 2+1 a-arms but they will not be capable of controling the increased leverage placed on them, thus producing a VERY soft front end.

Try checking the O-ring on the coolant pipe that goes into the clutch cover side of the case, I've had that do the same thing you are describing.

True, cheaper than "Champion" or "OMF" beadlocks too. I have a set and love them. I run them in the sand with my paddles, then switch back to my dirt tires when the sand season is over, I have the dual bead-lock version front and rear so tire swaps are easy. I have not had one single problem with mine. Plus they look trick, people at Glamis trip when they see my bike, most bikes out there run aluminum wheels. Here's an old picture

Since they carry the TAG bars, see if they carry TAG grips too (I see they are not listed in the link you provided) I run TAG's "atv" grips med / soft compound, they wear a little fast, but they are comfy. Good luck with the night ride @ G, sounds like fun.
