  7. I have one on my mtn bike, rides nice, soaks up the big stuff real good. It does have high maintiance. I have to disassemble & lube the interal air spring seals twice a year. They do make them for the Shee.
  8. It had to be an explosion in the truck, all the damage shows the force going out. On the newer GM vehicles the speedo is electric, if no power is applied to it & you move the needle it will stay where you put it.
  9. Are the pro peg the relocated one or the std ones.
  10. I was told that cast aluminum can't be anodized, only billet or extuded.
  11. Either too lean on the pilot or air leak. A couple of common problems are base gaskets blowing out & loose crank bearings. The big single likes to chew up crank bearings.
  12. You might have to reverse flush/bleed the system. Use a syringe full of brake fluid at the bleeder to push the air up to the master. It is messy but this really works good.
  13. 64oz=1.892 L. at least that's what is on my bottle of castor927
  14. Fuel- premium, mixed with a quality oil. most people run 32-1 or 40-1 First thing to do- replace the stock air filter set up, they tend to suck in dirt. After the ride- wash it, grease all the fittings, clean air filter, check for any loose parts, check fluid levels. Storage- depending on how long it is being stored, mine usually sits all winter. I fog the motor, drain the fuel tank & the carb, seal off the airbox & plug the silencers, change the coolant & trans oil, & prop it up on a stand to take the weight off the suspension.
  15. Lefty, That was too funny.
  16. You will need to get jets for a Mikuni carb, the jets that your friend has are probably for a Kiehin. They are not interchangeable!!! First thing that I would do is get rid of the stock filter & get a billet adaptor & use a K&N with an outerware or a foam filter setup from ProDesign. with either of them you can safely remove your airbox lid. Was the airbox modded before or after the rebuild? If before try the 220-230 if after 230 -240. If you decide to get a different filter setup, I have a complete ProDesign proflow set with the adaptor. It is the 2 stage foam filter. I am asking $45, including shipping.
  17. Are you missing the washer for the main jet or is your main jet loose?
  18. Yes, clip the plug off & connect the wires.
  19. Ray, they are on the way.
  20. I like the way the Banshee's ride but I also like the power of my zilla. This may change though, I am still saving up so Jim can perform his magic on my Shee's cylinders. Plus I have a 02 that is almost a complete roller that might need a big single for motivation.
  21. What is your e-mail address, I have a picture of mine.
  22. I have a set I will let you have. what's your address?
  23. What did it take to put the CR500 engine in the Banshee? Did you have to cut the frame at all, or did you just have to make new motor mounts.
  24. there are 2 of those washers/ isolators. they are used to limit the engine movement when under power. when you are stitting on the Shee, one is at the left front mount & one at the right rear mount.
