  4. make a clutch holding tool by riveting a drive & driven clutch plate together. If the engine is still in the bike you just have to put it in gear & hold the brake to loosen it.

I have a couple of parts from my 99 banshee- stock shocks-previous owner tried painting them they are ugly & cheapB/O stock air box w/K&N filter B/O stock carbs- no caps, needs tors eliminator kits B/O rt upper a-arm- needs bushings, balljoint is good- need painting lower a-arms- bushings felt good, balljoints good- need painting stock gold rear rims- have some scratches B/O I am taking offers on all parts, I am looking for some +2+1 a-arms & some shocks valved for 160-180lb rider
  8. I have had very good luck with Ingersol Rand inpacts. I have the composite 1/2" and 3/8" guns. lots of power, light weight too. I would definitely recommend impact sockets.( I had the chromies explode- high velocity chunks flying everywhere )

  10. I also have some extra parts that go with it. An extra trans(like new),rear axle bearings & seals(oe Suzuki), oem head & base gasket, std bore 87 cylinder that needs the newer head studs put in( 1 stud pulled out, Duncan performs this mod for $125), swing arm

I just bought a 99 that the previous owner did a Krylon rebuild to, started the disassembly process & found that the left foot peg bolts were loose & the nut in the frame on the rear bolt was missing. What is the best way to repair this? I am planning on using either Gibson pro pegs or IMS relocated pegs.
  13. 3.9's are notorious for timing chain clatter( i think the tensioner spring breaks causing the chain to hit the tensioner) Is the noise mainly at idle or all the time?

  17. I hate to do this, but I must to finish my SHEE. Ground up rebuild less than 2years ago. The engine has less than 4 hrs on it.(new cases, cylinder, bearings, head, 130w stator, lightened flywheel, clutch, clutch cover, waterpump shaft/impeller/seals,crank was rebuilt.) It is std bore with no porting. has PTR pipe & FMF Q silencer. The frame is painted red & has black plastic( maier shiny stuff). It has a DG alum. grab bar, AC glide plate, PRM skid plate, & dura blue rear hubs. I would like to get $3800 for it, I may take partial trades for a 89-92 LT250R. I have pics for anyone interested. PM me your e-mail & I will send some.

  20. Are the 2 wires for the key switch connected? When they are not connected it is like having the key off.

Mint condition 98 Ski-Doo Mach Z 800 triple/triple. 2100 miles,DNE silencers(stock muffler included too), mild clutch work done, ETS rear suspension upgrade, C&A pro skis, 1.25" Camoplast Predator finger track, 2" bar risers. I am asking $3800 for it, I may take partial trade for a project banshee.
  23. Would you be interested in a partial trade for a 98 Ski-Doo MachZ 800 sled? It has been clutched, has silencers, 1.25 track(1000miles ago), ETS rear suspension upgrade & C&A pro skis. Only has 2100 miles on it.
