  2. if you have got the right port work done this time,try putting a 17 tooth front on and if you dont see a difference theres a problem some were else in the engine
  3. that black box near your tail light sounds like your cdi box.it wont run with out it.why do you want to strip it down?it wont save that much weight to notice anything.just take a piss before you go riding.thats about how much weight youll save by stripping wires out of the harness.

  7. well if thats the case go for it.throw a cheep paint job on it,and do a small block swap in it.try advanced adapters.we used there stuff to put a 289 and a 351 windsor in a cj7.it was fun to say the least.used to pull the front tires off the ground.

  10. a full resto is easier said than done.and old jeep like that is very hard to find parts for.not to mention the time and money. in fact i do beleive thats one of the years the transfer case gears are split also.meaning the transfer case has a high-low range including low-high 2 and 4.my brother had one of those oldies.the slowest one out to the pit but most times the only one getting out.does it come with the metal top as well.not to nock you but i would pick it up if it comes with most of the parts,and sit on it until your out of school,and have a place to do it and the money to back it.cause once you start you cant stop because your out of money.cause once its on the back burner it gets put off.been there done that. scott

  12. ive got the dirt valve.its pretty nifty.you can mount it in a 360 swivel to suit your needs.no problems yet and its going on a year.never ran a bowl dry yet

  15. those spring screws need to be torqued down,in a certain pattern i think.get a manual and read it.wouldnt hurt to put some locktight on them either,i did edit me and daj posted at the same time.ooops

  18. the small hose runs to the bottom of the bottle.the top hose is an overflow.i geuss you can run the hose down the back of the rdiator to the bottle and the overflow down the frame about a foot
  19. you can probably get away with a new crank,lower case and rebuild on the entire thing.are the jugs damaged at all?there are some places to get cranks rebiult like TDR i think but i think your better off buying a new one.cases go on ebay.

  22. dude that sucks.time to tear her down.like i said before make sure you check the rod to see if it bent at all when it fetched up.unless your going to throw a stroker in her(hint)<< in a way its good,now you can put it together(money allowing) with some more durable aftermarket goodies like a billet clutch basket and stuff along that nature and all new seals.that way when shes done you know that its done right and should last a while.ya know what im trying to say? thats what i did. scott edit i think u posted pics of your rods the same time i was posting this.diregard checking,u can see plain as day.now go get yourself a long rod
  23. put some duct tape around the screw a couple layers thick.just incase you slip with the drill or dremel.it will save your plastic scott
