  1. You have the right filter YA-3502 K&N but you may have the wrong plate. The filter does have a round opening and the plate is oval but I do not know the measurements on the plate. You might contact Noss Machine and maybe David will give you some info.
  2. I have had very good results with Kings Tire turbo paddle in fact they hook up as good as my Skat traks and they cost about $100 dollars less than the Scat's did, and I don't have to worry about the paddles coming off. I have not seen them for sale anywhere online , I picked mine up at "Jim's" at Little Sahara.
  3. Well $5700 otd for the shee, 575 pipes and jetting, 85 for proflow and K&N, 325 for Lonestar axle, 75 for misc billet, 250 for sand tires , 150 Lonestar rear hubs, 40 axle lock nut, and $25,000 new suv for wife bcause she was so pissed I bought the shee!
  4. Yes don't get the adjustable pipes unless you really like silicone on your pipes. The non adjustable are way better. The silencers are oval like FMF,s . They are not as loud as Toomeys but have a good sound, they have turn downs so they don't slime up your grab bar. Their silencer bodys come standard in black with chrome ends and spouts ,but you can special order them in any color ,if you want to wait . I ordered mine red to match my frame and they didn't charge any extra for it. I do love they way Toomeys sound . And I see a lot of them so they must be a great pipe. I say run the pipes you like! Not what everybody tells you to.
  5. I picked one up on Ebay for about $12 . Nice billet with stainless bolts. Real easy to install and original wiring harness works .
  6. Sezer, I have never rode Toomeys , just have had a few others . I have LRD's on my new banshee and love them but I do not know how they compare to Toomey's . Here is a link to a dyno test I found with a mild ported 350 with +4 timing courtesy of "gpracerx" http://www.planetsand.com/memberphotos/234...%20shootout.JPG Maybe this will give you some idea . But I am sure others will chime in and give us some more info
  7. The Amsoil 100to1 synthetic oil can be used in 50to1 , 80to1 or 100to1 the 50to1 and 80to1 ratios should be used in high horsepower and high rpm applications. You can fine tune the ratio for your application. We have tried them all and banshee's seem to like the 80to1 ratio . The series 2000 racing oil is designed for modified high performance engines with extended rpm range and high compression , Hence the name racing oil. Recomended ratio of 50to1 is recomended. Dyno testing with this oil concluded 50to1 was optimal ratio for minumum high temperature torque loss. I have used this oil in all my two strokes since day one.
  8. I really think my topend is in good shape and I think all test will vary some. I just got my pipes jetted in real close before the weather turned cooler ,so now I am waiting on spring. I am just wanting to up the compression to help the bottom end power but not get crazy . I am very happy with mid range and top end power is great ,just a little soft on the bottom. I am leaning towards 21cc domes because I do a lot of riding where the elevation is about 1500. I am interested in some other's test with 21cc domes at a simialar elevation.
  9. Results on new machine with aprox. 10 hrs. on engine. Left side 106 psi. Right side 106 psi. Elevation 3105 feet Ambient temp 60 degrees F Engine cold Used known good gauge, throttle wide open and kicked until gauge stopped. This is a little lower than the comp. charts show but is this about normal? Also would like to get this up to about 150 psi for my elevation , what dome size is recommended for pump gas? The compression charts I have looked at vary a lot , who's is accurate?

  12. I recently purchased a set of LRD RFX non-adjustable pipes for my new banshee. They are a little pricey but did come with complete jet kit. First time out was at the sand dunes with paddle tires. First noticed bottom end is quite a bit weaker than stock pipes. But mid range and top end is very strong. Smooth hard pull with no peaks ,upper mid range and top end seems to be the best . Over all great power band ,easy to ride . I only have experience with FMF fatties and CPi's before these. In my opinion these make alot more power than the fatties and much smoother power and way better topend. As for the CPi's the LRD's have the same smooth power band and on a stock ported machine ,have better mid range and about the same top. As for drag race comparison, my buddy has a piped and unlidded YFZ 450 with extreme paddles . When my machine was stock he would beat me bad by 10 bike lengths in a approx. 150 yd. race. With the new pipes , proflow and K&N , other wise totally stock ,with skate II tires. in 3 out 3 races I won by about 2 or 3 lengths. So overall I am very happy with my new pipes.
