  1. found out fronts are WORKS fully adjustable rebound/ comp, the springs can be switched out and madeinto nice std shocks. i MIGHT keep them now..
  2. i would be more than willing to work out a deal with you i have delt with great people oversea's i'm just not looking to seperate the motor into pieces right now.. thats all..
  3. i would consider a trade in! cubs can benifit from porting the 421's are really good right out the box. kinda like a ready to go drag cylinder. porting can make more power but other cyls need more "work" to really work well i would compare a box stock 421 to a ported one similar to a dune port to a DRAG port there will be a small increase in HP but not as much as the inital change..
  4. in my opinion they need replated right from the get go need good pistons, and need real portwork done.. i'd give a set a shot. if i could get them cheapenough and can play with them.. if i was looking for new i would heavily recomend the CPI products.. the reliablilty, quality and support is just not really there with the other cyls.
  5. i have a few sets couple with pistons available.
  6. i think this should be pinned!!!
  7. put it all together and watch your temps. probably be fine
  8. rev the motor more.. play wihtt he jetting a bit..
  9. sell your stocker and buy my 485cc.. done.. OR go big or go home if$$$ isnt a problem 10 mill cheeta or 10 dm
  10. umm stop splashing through water? the cable tops are not all that well sealed might be getting in through there..?
  11. IN MUD!!!!! its NOT a 4x4.. treat banshee's like ferraris they are SPORT bikes NOT chevy stepside's on 33's .. carbs need sync'd and cleaned it will idle just fine after that ( most likely)
  12. the one i bought was being built at nmotion for UAE export the buyer backed out the motor was pulled and sold and i bought the roller i'm going more towards the 350cc stock stroke stock bore bullshit i keep hearing out of these 4 stroke guys and their slow ass 450's i'm wanting to build one that shows what the ole banshee is capable of.. in that lil light ass frame !!
  13. i dont think i would have even posted those pics.. its freaking PINK> take better pics in the sunlight if theya re actually orange.. i actually think MAeIR screwed themselves on those fronts they ( in my mind) would look a LOT better if they DIDNT have the stupid fenders on them if they were a solid side like lakers or fulbore they would be much better the rears look fine to me..
  14. yfz's with thicker seat foam are VERY nice ride. those pieps fit pretty good MAN they are sticking way out! sawweet someday soon i will start on my yfz/banshee project.. the outlaw i have i would LOVE to have jigged and use the swingarm, a-arms, stem banshee motor, BUT use YFZ plastics and seat OR even the 450r seat, from a honda.. the yfz plastics on one piece i think woudl work well. biggest issue is the radiator, pipe fitment to me. mine will have out frames... going to be a dune drag bike.. light as heck!
  15. alky is very adictive.. after having 4 bikes on alky and then buying a nother bike for trails i used about 10 gallons of 110 and at 9 bucks a gallon vs the 3 bucks for alky didnt take long for me to ever switch the "trail" bike over to alky i dont know very many people that after running the good stuff wishes to go back to gas..
  16. i have 32mm alky lectrons on mine..
  17. 421 stock cylinder 68mm bore 4 mill crank.. alky motor made 85ish hp and 55+ TQ absolute BLAST in the trails/ dunes DEFF my fav motor so far for general riding. had a 485 PV motor on alky was a HANDFULL in the trails and nearly impossible to launch at the drags ( stock chassis +6 arm)
  18. tell everyone your bike is stroked and poked
  19. thats why my last few cranks came from them.
  20. looks like one of the corners in my garage!! those 409's are weird i did one a LONG time ago and they had a bunch of issue's BUT i've always ben curious to do another one.. throw all that stuff on ebay and i bet you will have enough to build a motor or at least get a realy good start.
  21. dang everyone has those cranks!!
  22. do what>>> one off trade show shocks HA
  23. somebody took a picture of me as i read this thread!!!
  24. http://www.alsacorp.com/
