Are they turbines or power cores..

i kinda skippd the last few posts because I want to get to bed, but I want to throw in my oppinion. sorry for the bad spelling, im tired. The bike is in your posession, so technically yes, its receiving stolen property. No way out of that one, its the way the law works. But if I'm looking at this correctly, they are trying to get you to pay, for the damage to the bike. YOU didnt damge the bike, someone else did.. The reason I say this is because pretend your sitting at home, and you buy something from someone that is "stolen" and you are unaware...just like the quad. (even if you didnt buy but was dumped at your house) the restitution is to fix the quad, shouldnt this be paid by the party that had posession of it when it was broken? The legal system may have its ups and down sides, but if you think about logically, and run it by your lawyer, there may be a loophole. What if I tore the engine out of my shee and someone stole it without an engine.. Does that mean that I get a brand new engine and a set of T6 pipes on top of my shee back? No, it shouldnt... If you get charged with receiving them that sone thing, but being charged for someone else breaking it is completly different! I say take the kid to court... Get your lawyer to make him talk a lil and im sure if he says he sold it to you with you not knowing it stolen, or that he blew the engine, or ANYTHING for hta tmatter, it could help you out. It may not be worth it.. but who knows, you could come out with just a smaller fine. AS FOR MAKING MONEY--- Maybe look to close friends or relatives, i hate to borrow money from them, but in this case they might help you out... Also I've never talked with a bank about it, but will they give you a loan??? =) Just thinkin of options..

I have powercore II's (the older school ones) and am looking for a set of turbine core II's. If you have them, i will buy and/or trade with you mine + $$. Also if you have a set of spark arrested silencers I may be interested if the price is right..

lucky me, there is a spark arrestor i can buy and bolt on!! YES!! I called fmf and they said that cobra makes a clamp on, SO... I look it up, $70 a piece.. yes, that means $140 for SPARK ARRESTORS! however... I can buy turbine core II's for $140....wow, thats a tough decision.....ugle clamp on thingys, or brand new silencers...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

First topic Stick on power: There are numerous bolt on parts for your banshee, but the best mod as of now is called a stick on mod. Stick on mods consist of painting parts as well as graphics kits or seat covers to add instant HP. You can expect between 10-15 HP per sticker, or 3-5 HP per part painted. Your overall powerband will change depending on the color you choose to make parts or the sticker colors themselves. A red powerband can be expected when the amount of stickers exceeds 3, and more then 25% of your banshee parts are painted red. Red powerbands can also be bought at your local Hardware store. Hey all, I have been a member here for a while now, and I feel I would like to contribute something and seeing how I spend hours on here a night =) I am going to compile a how-to from members. I am going to be sifting through posts and whatnot for common questions such as the Jetting FAQ, which I will add if i get permission, as well as everyone elses permission for me to copy and paste the information into a helpful guide.. I will not be selling it or anything, but will post it online, or it could be hosted here by Lee. Things included will be common questions as stated before, and then when someone gives a very well explained how-to fix, how to do, whichever i will copy it into a word page and compile them all into a guide. AGAIN, I AM ASKING FOR PERMISSION TO DO SO. You all have posted this helpful information, I am just trying to make a guide out of it to help people out!

I would put my life on it that I had a SOLID spark.. Unscrewed 1 plug at a time, held it to the head, spark was jumpin like its never jumped before.. Did that to both plugs. As for gas, if that was my problem, wouldnt have started and burned the quick start fluid? Thats what it does in the past.. Gas and spark, thats all you need. I have both, I have a feeling its the warm weather.. Maybe I flooded it.. who knows, all I do know is that it seems odd to have gas and spark but no FIRE!

But it ran yesterday... It ran strong and totally fine. I shut it down via the key, and shut the gas to off. any other ideas?

I just did the TORS removal and put her back together.. Started 2nd kick, ran it for 5 mins.. SHut it off (that was yesterday) today after work I go to kick it over, and something just didnt seem right.. It sounded like it was DEAD.. of course it didnt spark, so I checked for spark.. TORS were removed, so of course, I had it.. Made sure the carbs were on right, turned the gas to off, then back to where it was, then removed the gas hose and gas came out so i was getting fuel. I also tried Thrust Quick Start fluid, which normally works if I have spark.. But it didnt! The only thing I can think of is that today it is 90 degrees in Michigan, and yesterday it was bout 65... Maybe it just not used to the heat? Any tips/comments helpful..

stock carbs, with TORS removal kit, will probably ebay them to make sure i sell them quick. I polished one pretty good, the other is started.. Nothing special, I think they have 180 mains? I also have a twist throttle with a BRAND NEW braided throttle cable from terry cable, paid $70 for the cable last week, still havent used it.. went back to thumb for my 2 into 1 carb setup.

Well hmmmmmmmm, all I know is that I want to go, and I have power core II's, do you think if I installed them I could just say that I took them to a shop and they put some on the inside? I WANT TO GET BY THEM!!!!

Hey all, someone told me the way you test for a spark arrestor is but pushing something down the silencer, if it stops you got em, if it doesnt you dont.. So what I'm thinking, is instead of buying new silencers... Could I take mine apart, and put like a wire screen inside it? Like even if its not a real one, wouldnt that serve the same purpose, and also get me by?? ***This post is not to be read by any DNR officials***

go back up the tunnel, and back to the room before the first lazer, switch it so that the front one is on, back one off.. go back through tunnel, back down to the last door and bam. lazer gone.. make sure you get the keys before doing so or else its a waste of time

I'm not sure, all I know is I plan on going probably every other week or so.. I woudl rather have my own pair then be dependent on you. THanks though.. ***EDIT*** Do you want to sell them? What kind are they, and will they quite my shee down a lil.. I dont think I'm even under the 93 dB

Im looking for a 2 into 1 carb setup.. With a 35 mm carb, setup for twist throttle... Want one thats in good condition, I plan on buying a new one if I dont find any on here in good shape. Just figured if someone was trying to get rid of one I would rather help a brother out!

I have old school powercore II's and I want to go riding at the dunes and they enforce the spark arrestor stuff hardcore.. So I'm looking to trade for some turbines, depending on condition I may throw in cash too..

Good thing I decided to go to a single carb setup.... But that may not happen until june or july =(
