dont know what kind of pistons they are, but I'm gonna guess the 1.00 means that they are meant for the last bore you can make on a banshee cylinder. On wiseco's they start at 64 mm and go in increments up to 65.00 mm, hence the 1.00 on your piston I believe. I could be wrong though.

know how long it will take to burn off a quart of 10w30 thats sitting in the bottom end? Only time its burning off is whats getting slopped up to be burnt off. It's not already atomized in the gas. Tear it apart and mop it up......its really the only right way to do it.

congratulations man, he's gonna have some cool birthdays......and he'll always at least get a piece of candy for his bday. Good to hear everyone is well. My son was born on the 27th, good times for birthdays. Jameson is my drink of choice, hell its my families drink of choice, my soon to be nephew is even named jameson. My choice for drinking it is in a pint glass, on the rocks. Jameson and water, splash of sour (just enough to kill the bite. I'll also drink it straight on the rocks, or without the sour depending on the mood I'm in. enjoy every moment.....they literally go by in a blink of an eye.

figured I'd bring this up since I'm getting a lot of interest and dont have time to get back to everyone right now. I've got my son's bday party this weekend and my wedding next weekend so I apologize for not being able to get back to everyone. I'll try to respond better to everyone. It's actually a -2 instead of a -1, I remeasured to make sure. Like it says, its missing the brake caliper mount, the carrier came from tdub as well, so if your interested, get a hold of them and see how much a new caliper mount would be. It doesnt have any skidplate mounts. I was going to add them in, just never got a chance to, and then decided to go another direction with the bike. Besides that, it needs cinch bolts, bearings, chain guides and its good to go. I wont go any lower on price, I've got much more into it than that, and will keep it for another bike for any less. If I take a while to respond, bare with me, theres a lot of crap going on here (including my photographer canceling on me yesterday) thanks, Bryan

how you doin out there in san diego, little hot? Reason are engines are overheating out here is because of how hot it is, and especially at hatfield-McCoy, I'll run some areas where I'm climbing hill for 10-15 minutes at a time, and then you destroy your brakes going down the other side, then back up to another ridge, and your engine just runs hot after a while. Good ol tight woods riding.

Custom ignition curve and power valve curve
. replied to 4stroker's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
thats pretty cool, you could actually control the bandwidth of your powerband hit with your powervalves to some degree I would imagine. Take the hard hit of the powerband away for woods type riding, and then have the powerband completely open up for when you rev it out. Definitely a cool thing to be able to play with -
long time no see, is driving through here kinda like driving by your old house? Kinda looks the same but has new doors and shutters? Got a whole different group of kids playing in the front yard too.......us old fogies like to hang out in the attic, basement, or garage
-
east coast banshee put up a link not to long ago to a place that makes them, and there was a deal that you get an impeller with it as well, pretty good deal for a new one
-
just interested in the fronts: what size are they and are they the xcr kevlar lined ones?
-
why did he say you need pt mids?
-
yeah, I dont need plastics, have a few sets of them hanging in my garage. I'd probably be interested in the whole engine setup as well though too. Dont know how small of a crate you could get everything into, but if you could sell the whole thing without the plastics, that would be better. Doesnt matter how you have to break it down to ship it, I can put it back together, thats not a problem. I've got 3 shees sitting here, was thinking about selling the 2 and buying yours, dont need to sell the 2 first, but with my wedding being nov. 3rd, if we can work out shipping and everything, I can give you a downpayment and then pay you in full after the wedding.

i'll get pics up for you either later tonight or tomorrow. I've got an appointment in an hour and dont know how long that'll last, and my fiance has a girl scout leader meeting so I'm watching the kids, so dont know how far I'll get with the pipes to take pictures, but I'm free tomorrow in the afternoon for a couple hours to be able to get the other side off, and polish them up for you.
-
I wish you werent so far away, we could really work something out. Have you looked into shipping methods?

are these the bandit kevlar lined tires? if so, send pic to [email protected]

can you do something like the fox symbol, but use the yamaha tuning forks in the middle? -
why you want to get a jet kit for it, you wont use 9/10ths of the kit. I would talk to toomey and find out what 1 or 2 needles you should run for your area, and get a different couple mains throughout the range that you'll use. It'll save you some money and you'll have better needles. I'm up for a three way trade, and what kind of filter do you want to run? I have an extra mounting bracket for either the K&N or for a pro flo foam filter. I have the K&N filter(actually a couple, but i'll send you one anyway), and I'll give you the money for a new filter, and the money that a jet kit costs (35 or so? I forget for the kit, but i'd still go with individual jets and needles to save money) send me urls's of what filter kit and jet kit your looking at, and we'll go from there. What are your guys numbers, my name is Bryan, and my number is 215-915-5753. Each pay shipping on our own ends, does this sound fair? Give me your numbers and we'll get in contact with each other and try to do this in the beginning of this next week. I'm swamped the rest of this weekend, but monday when I get home from work, I can get the pipes off and get them nice and shined up.

I believe so yes, the yamaha rods are supposedly stronger than the hot rods ones as well

does it have a stock timing plate on it? Sounds like your timing is off, every time I've seen on here that a banshee runs backwards, its because something broke on the timing plate

Thinking of getting a Blaster for The lady?
. replied to faeman66's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
blasters are a good starter 2 stroke, main things to look for are the brakes like mentioned, and keep an eye on all the cotter pins, that are holding in the pins for the shocks and such, they can rust out over time and possible bad news afterward. definitely get the injection block off 900 is about average for a used blaster, I'm going to be picking one up that needs tires but has a pipe and carb and a couple other little trinkets that he's asking 700 for it. I'll probably get it for 6 -
dont know what exactly happened with your situation, sounds like he ripped you off for parts though correct? Did you happen to send them through usps? If so, you need to wait 6 weeks to be able to receive payment, and then you can file for mail fraud, a FEDERAL offense, and then jumping state lines is not an issue anymore.
