If its a lot more then there is an issue. This question comes up now and then as far as the smoke goes. Mine is one that does it as well. Putting different carbs on it seems to solve the issue. It is something to do with the casting process of the carbs being different between the 2. The one will run a little richer than the other no matter what you do. This is only the case if you notice the one is smoking more than the other by the slightest bit, not by a lot. Could be a bigger issue like a seal going bad in the bottom end, just wanted to give you an idea if its just a little bit.

go with the poly, I've seen so many busted cases from billet savers, they are fine if they work, but if they snap you got quite a bind, and the poly will flex farther than the billet, allowing less chance for a snap. oh yeah, I saw the hp/torque amount for your charged v10, whats it getting for gas mileage?

was thinking about it, why dont you opt for the 8 ft bed. You could put a box in the back for your tie downs, riding gear, tools and stuff, and you'd be able to lock it when you go riding so noone could mess with it, and still fit the banshee in easily

some will say they like it.....but I think its a little weird. A bra for the front how bout handlebar grip streamers....that'd be pretty cool too

I went down to the auto show in philadelphia, and all the new interiors are really shitty. The tundra had the nicest interior by far, the rest were just real plasticy and cheap feeling. I was going to buy my wife a new quad cab f250 (with my father in law's discount) and be out the door for a little over 20 grand, but ended up getting a 2003 limited excursion v10 with all the bells and whistles for 20 grand out the door with a 3 year unlimited mile warranty. the new trucks might be real solid and such but the interiors are lacking. If your gonna go with a chevy or gmc, look into getting an HD. Not just for it being a better truck than the standard, but the styling is a little bit nicer. Just something to think about. It's gotta be functional, but you also wanna feel good being in it. Meanv10, with that kenne bell what kind of gas mileage are you getting before and after you put the charger on it? I'm averaging about 10 around town and can probably squeeze 17 out of it on the highway. I'm still learning how to drive it though. It's got so much torque and it rolls so unbelievably that you really never have to be on the throttle, it'll coast up hills basically. In the next couple years I'm gonna be trying to get my shop setup and start doing stereo systems and vehicles again, and wanted to start with the excursion as a platform.

talk to the guy and see what he went through legally to get it street legal. Some states have more hoops you have to jump through to get it approved. Another thing your gonna have to look at is that you are going to get pulled over ALL the time, and it'll get annoying after a while. Mine was registered as an atv, so I would have to go through a ton of hoopla to get it reregistered as a motorcycle. My easiest option would be to get a rz350, and cut the vin out of the frame and put it in the banshee frame. then the whole getting pulled over thing came up and it wasnt really worth it to me to be pulled over all the time (until the cops really got to know me I guess)

just wanted to personally thank you Lee, you are the man. Dont know how much maintenance this place has needed in the last year or so, but I know it was a big hassle in the past. It's greatly appreciated. On a side note, this is one of the most organized sites I've ever been on. Scotts.com just started a new forum program....and its such a pain in the ass. Everyone is complaining about it, and it seems that their isnt a lot the program can do to help make life easier. Glad to see you're building a server community up still. It's a pretty cool thing to see. One last thing. In the for sale section, its starting to blow up pretty big and stuff you have for sale doesnt stay in sight very long. Maybe we could spread it out to Banshees for sale, parts for sale, and non banshee stuff for sale (tools, rc trucks and all that good stuff. thanks everyone, I didnt even think about that people are saving lives on a daily basis when I wrote this (mind has kinda been weird the last 24 hours) Dont know whether to be happy or sad so I'm kinda just here. My bro in law is a fireman, was talking about carrying this lady out the one time with her skin melting off of her, pretty wicked stuff that some people witness on a daily basis. I give a lot of props to people that can deal with that constantly, takes a big heart and a strong mind. Most of the tests are back, heart, lungs, and brain are fully functional. After I gave her 2 breaths her teeth clamped, thats supposedly when her heart stopped. You know how they say that death happens in threes? Well, we've had 2 in the last month, and the whole time I'm performing cpr and the whole situation, I felt like I was in this weird cloud of interfering with something. It's more than just a mind feeling and never really was, more like a gut feeling. I just hope it doesnt come back to haunt me in some way. I know I did the right thing, but in some way I cant describe and fully comprehend, it feels like I didnt. Then again, I did make out with my mother in law.....so that weight is a big load to carry on your shoulders.

just got back from the hospital and need to vent a little. Mother in law walked in the door, was walking toward the dining room and half passed out falling into a hard asthma attack. Her inhaler was dead and she couldnt get reupped until tomorrow. My wife sat her down and by the time we got the nebulizer and medicine for it she was slumped down off the couch and not breathing. at which point my wife called 911 My wife got the nebulizer running while I was laying her down and by this time her heart stopped as well. I took the nebulizer piece and started giving her cpr through it delivering some medicine as well. Gave her 5 compressions and 2 more breaths and she started half breathing again (if you ever saw someone having an asthma attack you know the kind of breathing I mean). And at this point she had a pulse again. At which time the police showed up and got everything going while I moved the coffee table and 2 other chairs out of the way to clear more room for everything. I've never seen a response like this show up to anything, 5 cop cars, 2 ambulances and a total of 10 or so people at my house within 2-3 minutes of calling. I gotta give them credit for that. She takes all sorts of medicine, so I was trying to round stuff up so they knew better what they were dealing with. They sent my wife out as soon as the police got there because she was hysterical. Here's the kicker, after all this (a matter of 5-7 minutes at most), I could finally get my 2 year old son off the couch and take him downstairs to watch tv in the play room. My 6 year old daughter ran up to her room so she didnt see much (unless she was at the top of the steps half looking.) My neighbor had a stroke about a month ago, and got took away in an ambulance and never came back. First thing my daughter asked when we got home was if her nana was coming back. Thats hard. She's alright now, and stabilized. Last time and only time I took a cpr class was 6th grade (30yrs old now), and it comes back to you like you were taught yesterday. My nerves are racked and I need sleep, its amazing what life throws at you sometimes

this whole post cracks me up. I've got a complete gasket set that I bought for 30 bucks or so that if I didnt need it anymore would probably let it go for 10 bucks. Hell, 10 bucks is better than nothing if you dont need the thing anymore. Personally i'd rather buy the one from the dude on ebay than some newbie that has had it laying around his shelf maybe getting all banged up. I've got 2 shee's for sale actually, both have a little bit of work done to them and are both 2001's. One has a title, one has a bill of sale. Asking 2500 for the one, and 2300 for the other. Mods include works shocks, pipes, aftermarket filter, temp gauge, and a couple other little things. The other has an extended axle, coolhead, filter, and some other stuff done as well. It needs a new clutch (slips a little bit when you get on it hard), but I have the clutch to go along with it, just havent had time to put it in yet.

All this crying makes me want to put a huge ass signature in all my posts. I have a 19 inch widescreen and I've never had a problem with anybody's sigs making me scroll to the right. I dunno, maybe if I made 50 million posts about nothing really in particular, I'd get annoyed from having to scroll right all the time. I'd be interested, but you can get it directly from elka for that, that and I only weigh 190lbs so the setup wouldnt work for me. Dont want to bust up your post, its still a decent deal, and if its the right setup for someone, go for it, because its going to cost the same from someone else, and you'll have the same warranty etc, and you'll be helping a fellow member out. Very nice setup though, I'm going to be getting one in the next few weeks. Only thing better would be having an outlaw chassis.

it's a tight fit but they will fit stock intakes and boots going to airbox, I used a hair dryer to heat the rubber up so it was a lot easier to get around the carbs. Eventually went to a prodesign intake setup and they fit a lot easier. I'll do 160 shipped to your door
